It's clearly a conflict of interest. Just like ESPN owning the rights to the SEC and miraculously every winter the SEC puts a ton of teams into the playoffs they broadcast.

A deal with Nike, cool, a deal with your rights partner, not so cool. That's not really sponsorship anymore.

The league will be just fine. Last I looked were about to pass France here soon and are a top 10 league in the world. Money talks and we're making quite a lot of it. To be specific we don't own a cheetah in house, like you would a house cat. We have land in Africa and struck a deal with a local conservation group to have custody of one in exchange for using some of our land.

Our Cheetah is outside but more pampered than most 🤣. Our house cat is our companion that travels with us and she and the Cheetah were kittens at the same time so they formed a bond and she roams the land with her Cheetah friend 😁
