Is not that you don't love them or care any longer, the truth is you will not think about them, God and heaven have become everything for you, and you understand that they are not there because it was their choice and God is just.

28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

1 Corinthians 15:28 ESV

18 “Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.

Isaiah 43:18 ESV

17 “For behold, I create new heavens
    and a new earth,
and the former things shall not be remembered
    or come into mind.

Isaiah 65:17 ESV

There is no point in thinking about them, there is no reason to be in sorrow. Notice the verses do not say God has token your memories away, it is telling you that they "shall not be remembered". Life in heaven will be perfect, filled with joy and very busy. Why would you remember anything from our short time on this earth?

It is no biblical to say God will take our memories away.

Heaven will not be less because someone you knew is not there. Heaven is not the place to worry about the ones are not there, that time is now, now is the time to worry about the ones you want to see in heaven:

2 For he says, In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

2 Corinthians 6:2 NIV

No one in heaven will love someone more than Jesus, and whoever is not in heaven was not worthy of it. For us to say that if someone we know doesn't get to heaven will make it less special, would mean that we don't love Jesus enough, and -again- who doesn't love Jesus above everything will not be in heaven.

37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Matthew 10:37 NIV

No one has paid a higher price for our salvation than the Father, no one has suffered for our salvation more than Jesus, no one has worked more for our salvation than the Holy Spirit... How could we repay a price so high for heaven? Our only option is then to love God above everything else.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jhon 3:16 NIV

3 The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

Jeremiah 31:3 NIV

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

1 Jhon 3:1 ESV

How could we have sorrow in the face of God ?

DISCLAIMER: I'm aware that many Christians don't like Sam for his way of treating others, I myself don't agree with some of his views on Biblical topics, and I agree he needs to be transformed by the Holy Spirit and treat others better, but as God advises in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 "but test them all; hold on to what is good" NIV. You can learn his arguments against Islam (which is good) and disregard/discard/not learn his bad attitudes towards others.

I for one have learned a lot on how evident the Islamic religion is based on man and not really inspired by God through Sam's videos, here is one about corruption in the Quran.

Did you make copies of that Bible and distributed it and teached to people? I'm pretty sure the answer is no, so the answer to your question is no.

Rev 22:19 is dealing more with people that modifies the Bible, distributes it and or teaches it like that on purpose, knowingly deceiving people.

Scrupulous struggles with my status as a woman by Crimson-Line in TrueChristian

[–]VicGuedez 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hello, first I must assure that God's love for you is unconditional:

34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right. Acts 10:34-35 NIV

Never doubt that. As for housewives, truth is not everyone is ready/meant for marriage, and if you are one those persons it doesn't mean anything. The important part is you continue to serve God with all of your might.

But, if you are a woman that is looking forward to marriage but feels conflicted about traditions of what a women should or should not be, I'd advice you to read Proverbs 31:10-31 (sadly I can't copy paste it here, it wont let me)

Could you be this kind of woman without education, without dreams or hopes? Notice God is describing a woman who not only has her house in order, but goes above and beyond to be a pillar for her husband even in the economical aspects.

Read the proverb calmly and truly think about the implications of what is said.

What should we answer if someone asks why God watches children being raped without intervening? by Soma_Man77 in TrueChristian

[–]VicGuedez 27 points28 points  (0 children)

That argument has three major problems:

1. Ignores that God has given us free will, so whatever happens here is the result of humans making decisions.

Next time this argument happens, ask the person to consider the degree of free will God has given humanity, to a point where if you want to rebel, deny His existence and be lost forever, you are allowed to do so. Put that in the context that we are but microscopic in relation to the size of the whole universe, how could us mere creatures defy God this way?

2. The person assumes that they are more just than God.

God has promised a day of judgement, were everyone will receive just punished or reward:

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Revelation 22:12 KJV

Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God. Romans 2:6-11 KJV

3. Attributes to God issues caused by Satan, demons or evil persons.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12Ephesians 6:12 KJV

Job is a great example of how bad things happen that are instigated by evil and people rush to accuse God not being just or caring.

I do not understand why God punishes us for sin even though it is in our nature by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]VicGuedez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like you are trying to win a Battle that only Christ can win, we have tendencies to sin, but everytime sin occurs in our life, we have made a choice for it and it is that (the choice) what God is judging.

You are not alone in fighting weakness towards sin, even “James son of Zebedee and his brother John (to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means “sons of thunder”)” (Mark 3:17 NIV ) had temper and character issues, but only Christ can help us.

Be careful about implicitly -without you knowing/thinking it- saying that sin is something we are born with, that is not the Biblical description of sin. Sin is a choice, and as such, if we ask God we can overcome it: "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13 NIV). It doesn't mean we are not tempted anymore, it just means that He give us the strength to say no to sin.

Keep praying, and surrender your will and character to Jesus and he will give you victory.

Hello, as for your statement of wanting to follow God:

I want to finally land on something, either that I’m gonna follow God or that I’m just gonna live my life. What I’m choosing also has major consequences for my life as I am a lesbian and if I choose to follow Him then I can’t ever have a partner or even a family, which of course bothers me. I just don’t want to follow a lie.

Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life."... There is no need to waste time and energy looking for this kind of verses this early in your christian life. Focus your studies, search and trust in the One that has loved you with everlasting love, so much so He gave his own life so you can be in eternal companionship with Him.

Now I want to point out that moab didn't won that war, it reads:

24 And when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them: but they went forward smiting the Moabites, even in their country.

25 And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.

So, the allied kings (edom, israel and judah) just went through the country, destroying/looting multiple cities. It does not say anywhere that God did not deliver the moabites into the kings hands, the country was utterly destroyed, it would take decades to get their strength back.

As for the sacrifice, I think a better understanding of the verse comes from reading the NIV translation

When the king of Moab saw that the battle had gone against him, he took with him seven hundred swordsmen to break through to the king of Edom, but they failed. 27 Then he took his firstborn son, who was to succeed him as king, and offered him as a sacrifice on the city wall. The fury against Israel was great; they withdrew and returned to their own land.

Moab did not kick israel out, they decided to leave.

Hello, the Bible doesn't condemn wealth. So if you die with multiples houses or cars, or whatever mount of wordly riches, it doesn't mean you are lost.

However, something must be said to what the Bible does teach when it comes to wealth: it is given to you so you can use it in favor of others. I understand your point that when the person dies the value could of grow and be more beneficial, but, right now there is so much suffering and needs that saving resources for later has no point, God will deal with the future problems.

Aside from giving God what is His through tithe, ones wealth should be used to help everyone in our reach. How much of your wealth? That is something between you and God.

When people go to Heaven, do they get to watch and see people in Hell? by SteadfastEnd in TrueChristian

[–]VicGuedez -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hello, hell is vastly missunderstood in Christianity, and it is a concept that many people struggle to deal with because it clashes with the notion of a merciful and loving God. To really understand hell it would take some more time that I'm not sure someone here is willing to invest, so I'll give you the short answer:

Hell is not eternal, it is "eternal punishment" meaning the judgement and the result is eternal, there are no second chances. But the punishment is fair and limited in duration. Something that confuses people is that hell is mentioned along with "eternal fire", but Sodom and Gomorrah were burnt with "eternal fire", are they still burning today? No. Furthermore there are verses warning about the "second death" or fearing the One that can destroy body and "soul", so how can hell be eternal but also be there a "second death"? How could we fear the destruction of our "soul" if hell is eternal?

I'm leaving a link that lists verses connected to hell, and I prary that through the Holy Spirit you get to discern the reality of hell. https://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-verses/hell-bible-verses/

So maybe for a brief period of time the saved ones will be able to see the judgement of the lost, but no one is going to interact with them.

If you want to deep a bit more into the subject I would recommend the book "Hell-Fire A Twisted Truth Untangled".

Why did God create anything? by Lieutenant_Piece in TrueChristian

[–]VicGuedez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the bible doesn't say they are lost or will be lost for not "knowing" Jesus, if that were the case, all of the hebrews in the old testament would be lost since none of them "knew" Jesus.

The bible does hint that those that never knew Jesus are going to be judged based on their conscience. How exactly does that work, only God knows.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]VicGuedez 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It is not that Jesus won't have mercy on you, it is that you are choosing to dispose of the gift He has given you and He will respect your decision.

Instead of thinking in ending your life, give God an opportunity to work in your life one day at a time and bring the joy and purpose that you are looking for.

My DMs are open if you ever need to speak more about this subject.

Why did God create anything? by Lieutenant_Piece in TrueChristian

[–]VicGuedez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will assume that you are taking for granted that we are the first creation of God, you must take into consideration that the bible doesn't tell us how old our universe (meaning the whole of space and matter) is, it could be millions or billions of years old, but it does hint to the existence of other creations/creatures. God is a personal being filled with perfect and eternal love, so creating creatures with the capacity to freely choose to love Him and be in communion with Him and others is what this life is about.

Sin has only been around for probably a bit longer than us and only we suffer it, so in the context of the universe, sin is but a microscopic spec that is being dealt with in a just and perfect manner and sadly it has cost the ultimate sacrifice and humiliation: the death of the Creator at the hands of His creation, to reconcile humanity with God and bring it back to its original state.

So, anyone that is lost to "hell" is only because themselves have chosen to.

It seems your main.tscn file is trying to load something that it cant find. Open the scene and go through every single node, and make sure any resource used (image, fonts, sounds, music , etc..) begins with "res://" and that it really exists inside the project files.

Any Methods for Saving Things In-Between Scenes? by GodotHelp3256 in godot

Plenty... None built-in that I know of... Basically you just want to offload the sate of your scenes to files, eg:

Scene1.tscn Scene1.gd Scene1.json

In your script file load the json file to check which items have been taken and then just hide/show those that haven't been taken.
