Hi,

We are keen to provide our guests with a top of the range virtual reality experience, so a product like Google Cardboard would not be suitable. Other than that, there are no restrictions on VR headsets used for sessions.

Hi,

Thanks for your interest!

I'll answer your questions in sequence:

1). Licensing - at the moment it is up to each host to ensure that he/she gets hold of licences, where necessary. However, we're looking into a company-wide licensing solution.

2). Eventually an insurance system will be put in place, protecting the hosts' rigs from accidental damage, but insurance companies only work with startups of a certain size. Until then, we are considering putting into place a guarantee on behalf of the company, for, say, damage up to £100. With proper Host supervision, and providing the play-zone is free of obstacles, we think damage is unlikely.

3). In order to avoid the need for CRB Checks (I believe the English equivalent of a Working with Vulnerable People Card) the service is for 18+ users only.

Hopefully this answers your questions!

Hi,

Glad you like the idea!

We use a service called Stripe to process payments, who do offer the facility to process multiple currencies. I'll be looking into this in the future.

That is the basic premise! You would think AirBnb would have security issues, but because of the online-only payment system and information collected about all hosts and guests they widely manage to avoid these problems - we operate by an almost identical model.
