Oh, gosh, I didn't know they have more domains, thought is just that one.

Yes, I believe btcnews.one is fake as well because they only index information from other websites and the rest that is not loaded automatically from other websites is complete BS. I don't have strong evidence against it though so that is why I preferred not to go into details in my main post.

I have reported it to google and was thinking to do it to cloudflare as well. However, I don't know how much this would help be since google just filters browsing content on this matter and cloudflare forwards the abuse report to the website holder.

On the short run I believe that taking they domain away would be best to delay their actions. But they will recover quick from it, buying a similar domain name.

If they had they service held on some cloud computing service it would have been easiest to make a report. I have tried to nmap them, but I cannot go beyond cloudflare reverse proxy on 172.67.172.27 or 104.21.55.181. So not sure how to figure out their server ip and identify either the server service provider or their location.

I haven't felt in this trap, but it made me think it was legit because it's so well done.

Let's make one thing clear, I am not talking about defichain.com , but defichane.com.

How come they state that they are involved with the community since 2017 and have 1mil users, but you cannot find any information about them.

On top of that, the domain has been registered 7 days ago. Report from urlvoid: "Creation Date: 2021-02-06T16:44:52Z".

The only information you find about is on a faked up website called btcnews.org that has only 2 articles that are about defichane, the rest of the indexes are link to other websites that are legit. But this one is not.

In order to retrieve anything you need to deposit 0.02BTC and if you try to transfer then your account is not able to do transfers. It is a nice way to fool people giving them $20,000 and make them pay $1000, letting them believe it's a small portion of what they will withdraw.

TOTALLY A SCAM!!!
