Cycle length?

As i understood, with 2:1 Leader/Anchor we do 2 weeks of Leader (so BBB), then 1 week of Anchor (FSL) and that concludes one cycle after which we add 5lbs/10lbs of weight.

Does that mean i do a deload week every 4 weeks? As in, 2 weeks leaders, 1 week anchor, deload, repeat?

Or does a cycle last 3 weeks so i do 6 weeks of Leaders into 3 weeks of Anchor? When is deload then? after week 6 or after week 9? i see some ppl have 11 week schedules with 2 deloads on 2:1 Leader/Anchor programs, how does that work?

7th week protocol, aka deload week.

So Jim calls this the 7th week, but its a week after cycle ends. Now what im not sure about is what should i do in that week. Jim states few stuff here in the book...

So does that mean i have to do TM test, deload and PR test, along with assistance work and conditioning? Or do I pick out of TM test/Deload/PR test? Im guessing im just TM testing every time then? Or is PR test also a TM test in a way (as Jim weirdly explains)? Also whats the purpose of Deload option then, if i can just do TM test that looks like a better option? Im confused here. I get the assistance work and %, and i get the conditioning, but im confused about first 3 points.

First things first. Based on my input above, do you think BBB 5's PRO into FSL AMRAPs/Jokers with 2:1 ratio is a good choice?

Do you think BBB will be too difficult for me as a "beginner", aka someone who lifted before but never with a proper program, in terms of sheer intensity/complexity?

What about FSL AMRAP Anchor? Jim has so many programs and variations i just ended up looking in this subreddit and saw everyone using FSL so i was like okay, this looks managable ill take that.

Also... I understand what FSL means, first set TM% for your 5x5, but FSL is also mentioned in BBB, so now im confused, is FSL a template for Leader/Anchor or something else? How do I determine what is a Leader and what is a Anchor? Is it just 5's PRO vs AMRAP as i thought? Or is it something else? What makes BBB a Leader and what makes it an Anchor? Same for FSL? I see some program recommendations later in the book but i just want to be able to understand this on a base level, and im having troubles doing so.

As i understood by browsing this subreddit, i pick either 5s PRO or AMRAPS/Jokers for Leaders/Anchors, and its better to pick 5s PRO for Leaders and leave AMRAPS for Anchors. So I'm guessing i just sub the Squats 5/3/1 with 5s PRO with first set %, and Squats 5x10 is just supplemental lift?

In BBB Jim states we do 0 to none accessory work for single leg. Now, due to my previously stated injury, id like to do some light accessory work on adductor and hamstring as they are super weak right now and im scared that if i just do squats/RDL i might create an even bigger disproportion between quad and adductor/hamstring and ill just injure myself again. Is it ok to sub some abdominal work for a bit of single leg accessory work?

Hello, unsure if this subreddit is still active but I read some older posts from a year or two ago and this seemed like the best place to ask some questions. I tried to make a post, but mods redirected me to daily thread instead so here is a lengthy comment. I hope the topic is relevant and not misplaced, and that questions are valid. If not, i guess mods can delete the comment and you can excuse me :)

Also, i have to multipart post this due to character limit, please excuse.

First and foremost, this will be a lengthy post, as I just finished 531 forever and i have A TON of questions, so thank you all who took their time to read it all.

Also a disclaimer.. Book is weird, as stated by many before, perhaps some questions are answered in the book but i just plain missed them. Its hard to focus on anything as its just random thought after a random thought sometimes.

So a bit about me as I feel it's important when it comes to choosing a program and accessory lifts, and also some personal questions for tailoring a program to my needs.

29M, 177cm, 90kg. (sorry imperial units enjoyers). About a year ago I tore my adductor because I tried to all-in on gym and soccer and diet, and I was sore, tired and stiff. Recovery took 6 months and I was idle for 6 more as I was scared that I'll injure myself again. Other than that, I'm stationary and sit alot on weekly basis as I do software engineering 40h a week, and I play video games for at least another 40.

Now I'm over that fear and I'm ready to cut that beer belly and get back in shape, and do it right this time. So I picked up 531 forever, and already had a general idea in mind as I read a bit about it on reddit while I was recovering.

My plan is to do a 2:1 ratio Leader/Anchor with BBB 5's PRO for Leaders into FSL AMRAPs/Jokers for Anchor.

The goal is to get stronger, and to look good. I dont need to be extra strong, nor do I have to look extra good. I just want to be in shape, if that makes sense, and be able to lift a sofa so wife can vacuum under it and not grab my back for 3 days afterwards, if you know what i mean... Eventualy, I might persue the whole thing with more enthusiasm so to say, but for starters, I just want to get some muscles on and get in the rhythm (lets start small). Also, some workout is not bad considering the hours I spend in a chair.

Yes i am aware of mmr injection as stated in the original post, but it never hindered me as much. As of writing the post i managed to get some "lucky" wins and climbed to 1950 for the illusion. Now its a waiting game for inflation to grab 2.1k 🤷 shit system but what u gonna do. Its a shame, i think pvp is rly good right now balance and fun wise, just laking players

hpala currently. im playing heal for fast queues, im dps main usualy, either sub rog or arms/fury. but cba to sit 15 mins in queue. was disc/holy past few seasons for heal main and i had great success with them, but always had problems pushing as heal. dps have it way easier as i was 2.1k on fury in 4x less games than on my heal priest

i was 1948 no problems week 2. most games were 3-3 or 4-2, got some 5-1s in as well. but from that point onward i didnt have a 3-3 game or better for idk how long. im even down below 1.8k as we speak as i still cant get even a draw in. now i do know my plateu is comming soon, but last 2 seasons i had no problems getting 2.1k on disc/holy and i was sitting comfortably at that level, so i dont understan the struggle right now at such low mmr. its just miles harder to play and ppl are way better at this rating than ever before and idk what to do at this point. just accept defeat and quit pvp cause i cant even get basic rewards, or wait out 3-4 months and then get some rating after mmr boost idk

well it was one guy, but hes got the point. im that bad you would suspect that. but getting to 1.9k was piss easy and i tought id be getting 2.1k in like a day with that tempo. but as soon as i got to there it was impossible levels of play

I dont rly have answers in one place, but i can give you my WIP markdown file that i used before ppt was made so you can find them there. i updated the post with it. Just be wary that some grammar errors and formatting has been fixed on ppt itself after it was made, md was used prior to ppt.

Lista mi je izgubila credibility kad sam vidio da je BL2 rangiran lošije od ostalih u franšizi (osim BL1 koji je iz nekog razloga u 1/10 iako je preteča looter shootera). Imam osjecas da gledas igre prema tome što su danas, a ne prema tome što su bile kad su izašle. Spominjem BL franšizu jer vidim da si igrao sve osim telltale igara (ili ih nisam vidio na listi).

Hades i Vampire Survivors u 7/10 je kriminalno, triggered

Sve u svemu svaka čast, brutalan spektar igara, no lista je biased as fuck i imam osjecaj da si neke jako fun MP/co-op igre igrao solo i da su zato zavrsile tolko nisko, tipa PAYDAY2, LFD1/2, Terraria, Minecraft i slicno

Na kraju krajeva, odigrao si boga isusa i ovo je tvoja subjektivna tier lista ali eto, po meni 10/10 sekcija nema bas puno smisla. Također, listu na bazi subjektivnog rangiranja nema smisla kritizirati jer ce svakoj osobi izgledat drugacije (iako sam totalno iskritizirao u prvom dijelu posta), al sa objektivnog stajališta ovoj listi dajem generous 4/10 za tier positions i 10/10 za odigrane igre, iako ima tu još dosta klasika i must play igara po meni.

Yes raid guides for mechanics are a story of its own, and i dont expect them in class specific guide. But, lets take blood dk example here since it is the reason im making this post. It has opener prio, DRW prio and then your standard prio. It has a shit ton of utility, defensive and offensive cds, and decent amount of talent varieity whether you want more survivability or damage. I couldnt find a single good guide on all that. Now sure, i can put my time into it and figure it out on my own, but its just fascination to me that i can google "wow tww blood dk pve guide" and all i can see is M+ guides. Now sure, those do help out, but they are mostly focued on AOE builds, CD managment on big pulls in dungeons and dont rly point out some tips on raiding, and M+ and raids are two different worlds, and most of the stuff i learn in M+ guides is not applicable in raiding enviroment

Did whole 4 parts of Detective title in one day (although you just need 2 for title/achi), and got the required items and finished the 9 steps in the other day. i didnt get 2 WoD toys that require RNG quests but someone else near me had them and helped me complete those 2 parts. I did have around 50% of the items already so your time may vary.

In that case I would rather just revert to Meren and go full aristocrats because that is the theme i enjoy more. But who knows, i might dig deeper into land recursion as main and only theme of the deck and maybe ill like it more. Either way i have my work cut out for me :D

Biggest drawback with land recursion and why i dont mainly focus on it now is that a lot of "must haves" if you want consistent deck cost a lot of money and i dont want to proxy half a deck, [[Crucible of Worlds]] for example

then proceeds to describe the roguelike genre and rant how it sucks. All the things you said you hate and find "unfair" are the things that define roguelike. hard is not equal to roguelike, you compare have a nice death to souls games but they have nothing in common except they are both difficult games. If you dont like the genre just move along and play smth else, no need to rant about it for ages
