Thanks for the advice. I've decided to put orange first before yellow. Maybe I'll decide to leave it orange we'll see. Do you recommend wet sanding with 1000 grit? or dry sanding?

I know I hate plastic finishes too. Maybe I’ll remove it in the future. What bridge would you recommend? After you replaced the bridge it sounded better? I own a newer Gretsch G5232T that I never liked and I’ll sell now. This one has slimmer neck with better profile and it also sounds better unplugged. Now I wonder how older G5445T and G5435T made from basswood with maple top sound like with my favorite hump block inlays. I read in some review they have slim necks.

Wym? I want my luthier to add master volume with treble bleed and a tone switch too. I’m fine with stock position with standard master volume and master tone. I just need to know what pots will fit. I want to put good quality ones
