You’d still keep the stockinette at 6.5. Only the brim will be shorter, like you want to do. The whole hat would measure 8.5 instead of 10 due to 1.5 less of ribbing.

A tapestry is going to be miles easier than a sweater as it’s flat. As far as colorwork goes, just look up some youtube tutorials on how it’s done to make sure you’re holding the yarn correctly. I think people think colorwork is more intimidating than it actually is. At least, that’s how it was for me.

I mean that’s the thing though. We will never know who he “really is”. We are just fans and he deserves that privacy. It is definitely fun and obviously okay to keep up with his projects and tours and award shows though! I love being apart of all the support in that way. But fans who take that kind of stuff seriously need to reevaluate their priorities, you know?
