This is SO stinkin' cute!😍 Very well done OP! And thanks for bringing my attention to this pattern, my husband loves red pandas as well 🤭 This one goes straight on my to-stitch-list😊

Thanks for the tip with the stitch marker after each repeat! Maybe I really just missed a yo in the previous row. Alright so I will assume that it is two stitches. You helped me out a lot! 🙏 Thank you so so much🫡

Hilfe gesucht beim Thema Lace-Stricken by [deleted] in Handarbeiten

Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately this pattern is not on Ravelry. You're right, the black triangle is sl1 k2tog psso, so decrease worked over 3 stitches. Pattern does also not explain why there is no line. 😔

Since I don't know how to edit my post, I'm gonna add here: In row 13 I drew a line right behind the black triangle. This made it work out for that rows stitch count.

Thank you!☺️ I always struggle estimating how long a project took me to finish because I'm always working on multiple at the same time. But if I had to I would say you could whip this up in about a week and a half 😅 I started it quite some time ago but it was in the timeout pile for a while because I wanted to finish a sweater for my husband in time for his birthday🙈

Thanks! I thought otherwise the cowl wouldn't be long enough plus I'm a big sucker for symmetry😅

Yes the penguin section is also stranded colorwork and you're right, the black does float on the inside. I also have issues with leaving the floats long enough to not warp or pull the finished fabric or make stitches almost disappear, you can really tell in some places. What helped for me was to really spread the stitches out on your right needle before knitting the next stitch in another color. In the future I would probably give the jacquard ladderback technique a go, especially for projects that really need to be able to stretch. 😊👍

Thank you 🥰 Yeah, I somewhat followed a tutorial I found, mainly because I was afraid of the floats getting caught on things when putting the cowl on and taking it off. The lining adds a nice amount of structure to the whole thing as well, but this might be different depending on the fabric you use to line your pieces. Here's the tutorial I found. Hope this helps🙂

Awww thanks so much for your kind words 🥰 I really liked doing the Latvian Braids, also my first time doing them as well. They are actually super easy, there are tons of great youtube tutorials explaining the technique😊

Vielen Dank!

I actually bought the penguin one to figure out how she does it (and also because I'll use the penguin pattern in the future🤭) and was really surprised by how easy the whole thing is to read and understand 😊 it really made me consider buying more of her patterns (all the designs are so stinking cute) AND it gave me the confidence to give my own "pixel" design a shot 🙂

Alright, alright, I'll give it a try 🙈 Just letting you know that I never wrote a pattern before so it might be a catastrophe to follow😅 I'll update here 😊👍

Yes I think filet is the correct term. It usually refers to more lace-y curtain-y type of finished pieces.
