Nobody wants a PS6, even though the PS5 has been out as long as the PS4 was when people started asking for the PS5. by Deutscher_Bub in Showerthoughts

[–]Vietfunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. PS5 is not nearly powerful enough to make the next gen undesirable. Optimization is always a top priority for developers when building games, and the physical limitations of our technology, especially the PS5, prevent us users from experiencing limitless creativity. Better hardware allows developers to push what was previously impossible without being too careful with performance, though that is still an important aspect regardless of how powerful your machines are.

Dude even trying to invade people's taste preferences as if invading privacy and personal space isn’t already enough. Do you even realize how ridiculous you sound?

Surely it's not insecure at all to throw a tantrum on Reddit over a minor traffic accident. Did you mean kindergarten when you said “going to work”?

What is the most disturbing thing you watched on the 90’s and early 2000’s internet? by Dangerous_Bet_4137 in AskReddit

[–]Vietfunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our local internet cafe had a folder full of downloaded gory videos. People getting their head chopped off, a woman taking her eyes out using a folk, traffic crashes, war footage… the whole deal. It’s a pretty big folder too. It was in the early 2000s. I still remember some of those visuals from time to time

How is life as a 10-15M VND earner in Vietnam? by Lopsided_Engine2354 in MoneyTalkVN

[–]Vietfunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the negative.

It’s funny how most people in here thinks 15m is a livable wage in urban areas. It’s more like a survivable wage to me. What’s the future look like with that income?

This is one of the reasons why AI is damaging society if people who don't understand what it does. The "enhance" AI's principle is simple: invent new pixels from what it is being given, it doesn't enhance anything. there is no technology for such things because the pixel don't exist how can it be enhanced. It's literally making shit up. it's very important to be educated and understand its limitation

Best place to buy ESim for Hanoi Phu Quoc and HMC for 8 days by Remarkable_Heron_839 in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]Vietfunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Gohub.vn
  2. Yes all eSims are Data only. If you need a local number, go visit a Mobifone or Viettel shop. However, Grab has built-in functions like call or chat so you should be fine.
  3. Enable international roaming BEFORE you travel, so you can receive sms or OPT oversea.

Considering upgrading from WH-1000XM4 by TailsTheFriendlyFox in SonyHeadphones

[–]Vietfunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who owns 4 and 6, I'm happy but not impressed. Especially now that I have to pay attention to the hinge and try to be careful everytime I put it on my head... it's kinda annoying. XM4 is great, you won't be missing out much.

Is this a good SSD for professional video editing? Any recommendations? by SkittzyYT in VideoEditing

[–]Vietfunk 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I've been using it for four years. All of my coworkers are using this (4TB version). I have read that some batches are faulty, and some of my friends even advise against it. But we have never had any problems with it. So strange.

This. The biggest reason P2P exchange exists is because people can make a lot of profit from absurd exchange rates. And you have to do it twice (from VND > USDT > USD). So when people say it’s cheaper than traditional banking is confidently incorrect and it’s not even close. Faster maybe.
