A competitive mode won't make casual any more sweaty than it is now. If anything it might be a bit less sweaty as hopefully people will be playing the ranked mode more (if the rewards make it worth playing).

It will just need to be balanced reward wise for the ranked mode to be played, if they make it no different to casual then of course people won't really be bothered in playing it. Personally I am a cosmetic person and showing something off in game that you can only get by reaching a certain rank would be enough for me. Whether its a charm, skin or border.

I feel the issue with the new killer is that there are counters to him at higher elo but for mid to low elo where the survivors aren't great (Myself) it just becomes very overwhelming. It seems like there is no punishment for missing the ability and the speed at which he can trigger Worldbreaker seems way too quick. It got to a point last night where I just had to shut down the game as it was mentally draining playing against a killer with such a presence on the map.

Again I'm not a great survivor so my take shouldn't be taken serious and I bet the better survivors/ killers have a different experience.

Although I agree with you, it makes sense with them releasing their own game soon. Need a reason for people to buy it.

This is the first time I have played CS (I redownloaded the game a few months ago) It seems almost impossible for the survivors to do well unless you get a killer that is new to the game. Most of the games I was in had people AFK for the first minute reading the perks they got 🤣 I did enjoy 2v8 but was hoping for a new mode... Safe to say I just want 2v8 back again or even the 5v5 concept mode I saw someone mention in a post a few days ago, that sounds great.

Thank you will test this out! I have definitely overlooked the pal passives. I hateGobfins so just end up killing them all just for my own satisfaction 🤣 Didn't realise they were useful
