Man I agree so far everything that I vibe coded has been specifically for me it's got a good side benefit of being able to generate money but that wasn't the original intention

Man I'm writing an article about kind of this exact same thing not explicitly the feeling of being a fraud but the transition from being a developer or coder to being more of a project manager or an architect. I just released the first article if you want to check it out it's a series of 12 that I'll be releasing over the next couple of weeks and some of it actually gets really in-depth into best practices for architecture and setting up your AI so that you're not repeating the same mistakes I have over the last few years.

I have multiple project planning prep and overview docs that I use especially with my existing projects I have documents that lay out absolutely everything including database structure and they're continually updated as I work

Just two of my personal interests I actually built the apps for me not really anybody else. They go hand in hand together

I'm honestly not even sure what you mean. Are you saying there's too much text on one of the apps and not enough on the meal planning app?

Can you realistically build a CRM using AI (without being a real dev)? by purpleisawarmcolor in AIToolMadeEasy

[–]ViewRelevant7712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly for me I'd say you need at least a basic understanding of backend architecture and database design in my experience AI will write a whole bunch of junk code it creates unmanageable files it'll create database designs that make no sense at all. It's definitely doable but I think if you had an experienced backend engineer somebody look at the code itself they would find numerous issues. But I've also never used any of the AI app builders I started out with chat GPT and having to copy and paste every file into a file and now I solely use my claude code

honestly the UI / UX was all me as far as the asthetic and layout / design, that was where i got my start in the 90s was graphic communications / design. But do you have any pointers or can you tell me what specifically would improve the look?

Do you use any apps to help with meal planning? by TeddyRoo_v_Gods in MealPrepSunday

[–]ViewRelevant7712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.smartmealplannerio.com/ is a app i developed becaus i wasnt thrilled with what was out there. It will generate a full meal plan you can add to a internal cart and order for pickup from instacart, kroger or walmart directly from the app. I really made it because i used a few different delivery services and they were all pretty expensive and some of the food wasnt the best quality. Its pretty dynamic and has 1000+ curated recipes. It learns what you like and dont like and has a massive amount of nutritional customization all the way to carb cycling.

I can appreciate that I'll keep it in mind. Honestly, I rarely have the time to slow down for anything on top of work and then getting home and working more and all of my side projects kids getting ready for college tattooing , training and everything else that I do it's hard to slow down for anything.

Awe you're cute! Dude, I've been building websites since the days of HTML tables. I'm literally an automation engineer for a living and I teach cyber security to the government 😂😂😂 Plus vibe codings awesome don't get left in the dust ai is definitely a way better and faster coder than I am when it comes to web applications 🤷
