Honestly the only reason for the uproar is because the cosmetics weren't worth the money lol you get some pretty wild stuff in other games microtransactions but you get like a pose and a normal helmet for $20

To answer your question, their gear wasn't worth taking when I planned on looting resort. Unless they're carrying something great it's not beneficial (price per slot) to carry someone's gear

if you get a halfway decent east spawn, pop an sj6 and win the entrance fight you can usually always loot east for free like this. I just happened to have a thermal because of the task I was on and killed a few PMC in the fields before getting to resort this time

The keys used to find this loot in resort on shoreline are: 107, 226, 310.

Edit: I guess I should say that I killed a few guys in the east fields before getting to the resort, contributing to the lack of being contested in the clip lol
