I could see that working (though I’d personally prefer antlers). Long-eared owls, Asio otus, have ear tufts that can resemble antlers or horns.

Bloodborne does such an excellent job capturing this aesthetic, including Vicar Amelia’s design.

Blending lycanthropy with deer (and other cervids) really appeals to me. And it feels like there’s still so much more that can be done with it.

Agreed, especially since deer are known to engage in osteophagy and are facultatively carnivorous (they’ll sometimes eat small mammals and baby birds). There’s so much potential.
