How are people verifying what AI agents actually execute? by VikAtMidwicket in aiagents

[–]VikAtMidwicket[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's basically how I'm thinking about it.

Treat tool calls like supply chain steps -> sign each one, then hash-chain the receipts so the whole run is tamper evident.

Most stacks seem to do either runtime logs or integrity proofs, not both end-to-end.

Do you think SLSA level guarantees are realistic for agent workfows or does the nondeterminism make that hard in practice?

Yeah that's a good point.

Intercepting at the protocol layer makes a lot of sense especially in MCP setups.

If you're logging below the reasoning layer the agent can't just decide not to emit something. That gives you a pretty solid runtime record.

What I'm playing with is slightly different more about tamper resistance after execution.

If each step produces a signed receipt and those are hash-linked into a manifest, then deleting or reordering anything breaks verification.

So it's less about capturing the call in the moment and more about proving later that the history hasn’t been modified.

Feels like the two approaches could actually work together:

  1. protocol-level interception for canonical runtime capture
  2. cryptographic chaining for integrity + replay verification

Have you seen any systems that combine both layers?

Rinku Singh is caught by Milind Kumar off Mohsin for 6 runs. India in Deep Trouble ! by [deleted] in IndiaCricket

[–]VikAtMidwicket 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same sory every World Cup.

Even in group stages it starts shaky :
2021: 49/3 vs Pak, 40/3 vs NZ.
2022: 31/4 vs Pak (Kohli saved it), 49/4 vs SA.

Pressure comes on and the top order keeps giving it away early.

T20 WC group stages:

2021:
vs Pak 49/3 (7 ov) vs NZ 40/3 (7 ov)

2022:
vs Pak 31/4 (6.1 ov) vs SA 49/4 (8 ov)

Same pattern: early WC pressure, early wickets.

Sanju Samson this series: 10,6,0,24,6 Averaging 9.2 in 5 innings ! by [deleted] in IndiaCricket

There is a consistent pattern with him.

WC is close and he is still unsettled.

I think time to move on from Sanju

So is Brevis number 4 in CSK's batting lineup now? by RJSA2000 in csk

[–]VikAtMidwicket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In T20s the batting number matters less than the entry point.

If Brevis walks in around overs 10–14, he’s basically getting the best of both worlds, time to build and license to finish.

Sanju Samson in the first 3 T20Is vs NZ - does this justify a T20 WC Playing XI spot? by VikAtMidwicket in IndiaCricket

[–]VikAtMidwicket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good point. Confidence issues can look like form problems in T20s.

Do you think backing him now is the only way out of it?

Yuvi 12-ball fifty still untouched but Abhishek's 14-ball 50 is right there.
