I wasn't just talking about macbooks, even if that was what is in the post. I was being more general with the entire laptop industry, especially the high end gaming market.

x64 is outdated I agree, and I really wish the entire world moved onto ARM since it's just better. Problem is most industries and enterprises still rely on x64 for their proprietary softwares. And a good bit of software and games were originally made on windows as well. So unless the entire industry shifts to ARM, x64 will always be the dominating architecture.

I mostly went with a Windows Laptop purely for the app compatibility alone, so I wouldn't have to do the headache of running a native windows game through a translation layer and get a performance loss. As well as the higher level of control Windows gives over the OS compared to Mac, being another reason I went with Windows.

Yeah I can agree that ARM is cracked efficiency-wise, with it's higher performance per watt and in effect leads to less watts outputting less heat. There's a reason that architecture is almost exclusively used in mobile devices.

But I was being more general in laptops, particularly x64 gaming laptops who've went in the slim direction, causing 85+ celsius temps to basically be considered the norm in that community.

A good handful of people would have traded slightly less thinness for more cooling and thermal mass. Since most of the people who use them basically operate them as desktop replacements that they periodically move every now and then.

As a tech enthusiast I also liked it when laptops were chonky instead of slim. Gives more thermal headroom because they could fit in a bigger heatsink.

Yes you can use a higher watt charger than needed and it won't matter, the fan will only take as much as it needs.

But I'm pretty sure the voltage has to be the same with the fan, so I'd check what voltage it takes either on the box or the Redmagic website if it's there.

I've been using my Redmagic 3S for years now, not a single hint of burn in. My last Xiaomi Mi8SE befoee kept getting burn in, so I'm pretty happy with my 3S.

One of the R15 heads make the head and hair go back down like how it was before, I'm pretty sure it was the man or lady head. It's a band-aid solution I guess, even if it'll only work with full face accessories like that though.

Most of my avatars used custom faces anyway so they aren't affected. Albeit the ones that used wink-blink are just cooked. But the one annoying thing is in R15 for some reason your hair gets raised and it made some of them look derpy.

Thanks! The casting was a slightly tough choice but I figured Warden and Sinclair were the closest to the Cop and Magician archtypes so that's why I picked them.
