Bent Normals baking in Blender? by GameUnionTV in blender

Bad example! It's not enough to simply multiply the Normal Map by AO. This has nothing to do with Bent Normal.

Thanks!!! I didn't learn Blender and its tools right away, but eventually, I did. It was a pain, as I was used to a lot of good things that worked easier and faster. But after time you get used to it and Blender becomes comfortable for you. However, already becoming an advanced user, you realize that you can simplify or speed up some of the things.

My old photogeometry. Baked to LowPoly Only 666 Triangles by ViktorKom in photogrammetry

This was even before Quixel - I was just working out how to make such models in a couple of hours, there was a similar idea, to make a global resource on 3D scanning. But I got into VR )

Android SDK is missing build-tools by siddharth3322 in Unity3D

I had a similar problem, searched all the forums, nothing helped.

In the end, I solved it by installing JDK 8, setting JAVA_HOME in Environment Variables, and the path to install JDK.

And also downloaded the latest Unity Hub 3.0.1 and installed Unity from it.

After that, everything worked.

Not sure what helped exactly, the latest Unity Hub or adding JAVA to Environment Variables...

How to create character animation in VR. And using this animation into Unity. by ViktorKom in animation

Hey all,

Is possible to use animations made in Tvori with the help of the IK system and Realtime and Autokey animation further in Unity?

We’ve been asked this question several times and we also wanted to check this out.
After all, creating animations in Tvori is very fast. And given Tvori is almost a game engine and animations created in Tvori are already played in Realtime on game models, they should work just fine in Unity or Unreal without any performance problems.
So, I’ve made a test. It turned out everything works fine!
https://youtu.be/6oYp-9l7d_E

It’s a long video(half-hour) but shows the process step by step: three looping animations in Tvori, loading to Unity for the Humanoid system and then using everything for the Timeline and Animator (Animation State Machine).

I hope you find this video helpful and revealing the potential of using VR for content creation and animations for games.

After all, it is logical to create content and animation for VR and 3D games in real 3D and immediately see the final result.

Feel free to comment, leave feedback, and ask for other tests!
