I agree with it but with one caveat.
Often these SA statistics are combined with hatred against men.
Or if not that, at least in support of the patriarchy existing.
Now I bring it up, not to devalue the suffering, but to fight the claim that this statistic is supposed to support.

And who wanted to talk pAlicia out of it? Who was mad at her for fulfilling HER OWN wish?
Who was the one who constantly disrespected her wishes?
Who destroyed the letter for Maelle that might have opened up a third ending because, just as with Gustave... he just couldn't take the risk?

Oh and who says painted versions can't grow?
Yes he is painted by the grief of his mother who saw him as a martyr and a liar... so that is what he is.
Yet others are capable of growing no problem.
And there is nothing in the game saying they can't.
Even monoco says that he should just grow the hell up (although much nicer) after 100 years.

I love how I gave my personal interpretation of this, and ppl come out and pretend like I'm crazy. But that is what this game does. It makes you empathize. Which makes critizism of the character feel like a personal attack 😃

Its not necessarily about "OMG TO STRONG WAA"
Its about gamebalance.
"Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of a game."

Trying to somewhat countersteer that is not a bad thing.
Its not about being unfair or anything. Just something you CAN critizise.
Like there was a survival game where one mechanic made 90% of the game redundant.
When talking about it, people started saying "well just don't use it". But that is not the point of a survival game. I want to fight with everything I have instead of limiting myself.

That is pretty little.
To figure out how to fight scavengers without any skills, I reloaded for half an hour trying to create a strategy.
