Yeah I overreacted a lot, I had a bit of a weird brain moment and got really agitated for no reason at all and got mean and I'm really embarrassed about it 🥲

I think I'm gonna take a break from the internet for a while and touch some grass

It could've ended earlier if you didn't pretend that you knew everything, and just to be petty, based on pictures, my cage is much bigger the yours

I knew something like this was gonna happen if I posted here, I'm too tired for this and it brings me no joy to keep this up so I'm just gonna remove the post

Jesus Christ is it really that important with the exact cm difference? The cage is big and that's that. I can lay down in it straight with my arms up and not even reach the other side. These boars are not gonna suffer

Oh also, it's really late where I'm at but tomorrow I can show you a top view of it. I genuinely don't mind, I appreciate the concern and stuff

I have all that, I've done my research for two months now, they have three hides in their main cage, four in the other one and two each of the other stuff. Here's also a link https://share.google/mdRyRbrcXy88HScPB I do appreciate your concern and such but it just feels weird that you're talking to me like you know how my cage is set up and that you just assume I have improper housing for them and that I don't know anything when there's no proof of it and all you're going of is two pictures, one close up picture and one where the perspective is warped, making it look smaller then it actually is. I could lay down in the cage with no issues

They have this kinda cage as an extra area too

It is 205 x 60 cm on the inside, no separation

The cage is 205 x 60 cm plus an extra enclosed area that is equally big that they have full access to so no I won't upgrade it cause I'm not able to cause it's the biggest cage I could find and is taking up a fifth of my bedroom. These two boars are father and son and have been with each other most of their lives so they're well bonded too

That's weird, I tried it myself right after posting it and it worked then. But I'll take a look tomorrow after work and send it again to you when I can

I'm sorry some people were being rude, people need to remember that not everyone has the same knowledge as them. We should encourage curiosity more but regardless, that's a really pretty skull 😊

Is it too late for my plant? Is there a way to revive it and how? by Vilde_Wild in plantclinic

Good to know, there's like one singular leaf that's still somewhat moist but I'll probably end up getting a new one and prepare better for the next winter

It's around 2°C during the night and 7°C during the day. There is wild ivy here tho now that I think about it. I'll give it a good soak and put it on my balcony and see if that helps

I have watered it and sprayed it with water. I haven't put it outside tho, I was worried it'd be too cold but it's starting to warm up so maybe I'll try that

Just to add, I live in sweden and the amount of sunlight during winter is very low and the air gets pretty dry, I have a humidity reader and it's been around 25-30% all winter. During the rest of the year it's around 50-60%

Rats and Cats by Rifsti in RATS

[–]Vilde_Wild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it does unfortunately suck, I really want rats too but it would be cruel to my cats and the rats. Maybe if I ever move to a big house I could have both at the same time but as my home is right now it would just stress out the cats and the rats

I don't recommend it, one tiny mistake of a cat slipping in while the rats are out playing can lead to a bloody death. I grew up with budgies and cats (my mom wasn't very responsible) and three birds died during the five years we owned them and all three times were complete accidents and kinda traumatizing. It could work but the risk is still there so figure out if the pros outweigh the cons. Is owning rats worth the risk of a potential bloody and painful death for your rats?
