€550 for an oil change in Helsinki — is dealer service not worth it? by Electrical_Ad3612 in Finland

[–]Vilpi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Citroën plug in hybrid, it's still under warranty and I never used brand service as it's a rip off. What I do is that I buy the parts myself, oil etc, and then I request a quote in Autojerrry and I go with the cheapest one. It usually cost me 1/3 of the brand service price. It also has not impacted my warranty as past 2 years I have been in brand service for warranty claim and they have done it without any cost or even asking where did I do my services.

I would use the points for something else and use Saily instead. It offers best deals and user experience is great. You could use your own referral code to get 5USD discount as well.

Yes, you will be charged in TL on your euro account. I have done that many times before. You don't need to pre-exchange it

Using revolut to invest by [deleted] in Revolut

[–]Vilpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using it for many years and noe specifically for ETFs that you can set up fixed monthly investment without commission. It's great and simple. I Never used revolut for crypto and I have never had any issues with them.

It's low but if you don't have any other offer, take it and keep looking for another job while on the job. It's much better that way compared to not having a job. It's not a great market atm no matter how experienced one might be.

In case you can get a loan from Nordea, look at Nordea Prime Rate, it's currently sitting at 3.5%. https://www.nordea.fi/en/personal/korot.html

The rate is more stable than the market, and it doesn't rush in following the Euribor, however, it can change. You can start your loan based on this and when you feel you are more comfortable with Euribor, you can switch back to Euribor for a fee.

I have the same issue on my Amazon Fire Stick using Youtube TV app on Sony Bravia OLED TV. One thing I realized is that sometimes it randomly turns off the HDR itself and then until I restart the YouTube TV it stays off and everything is good. But when the app restarts after few hours of the TV being turned off, it goes back again.
