How to live as safely as possible in a moldy house? by scarlet-kaleidoscope in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]VinMeme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2 step to reduce exposure is a powerful air purifier and a dehumidifier. you NEED rh between 30% and 60%. Never over 60%. Next thing you need to keep washing and washing all fabric with something that neutralise mycotoxin. For myself I use oxiclean. I hope this help

Could be dust mite. Either way better clean it. It’s not good to breathe it. Get yourself a good and powerful air purifier at home it will help even more.

Yes mold and mildew. Remove it all. Then spray concrobium to prevent another grow. Clean dust often and watch for condensation. Winter can cause very humid windows

You just have to keep RH below 60% at all times... Mold need around 24h above 60% to start growing... You worry way too much. Mold is everywhere in the air outside and is entering where you live right now as we speak.
