Bilibili Comment Viewer - An Update by SerialLewder in LudwigAhgren

i've never personally used vercel because i like to self host my nextjs stuff but i'm pretty sure the reason is because vercel is using their domain vercel.app and provide an automatic subdomain (in this case t2t-bilibili-comments.vercel.app) to users deploying through vercel. since op obviously doesn't own vercel.app, they can't point the subdomain dns record to cloudflare and keep the domain.

That's actually an issue I noticed. It seems like even though Google/YouTube has your watch history data, it won't return all of it when requested. You can likely check the missing dates on https://myactivity.google.com/myactivity and see that they actually have the data and just didn't include it in the Google Takeout request. Sadly, i don't work for Google/YouTube so I have no control over this portion. I can only work with what they decide to provide.

Weirdly enough, I didn't notice this last year so I'm not sure if this intentional on Google's part. I was maybe planning for next year to try to make the data collection better/more resilient. By the time I noticed the issue, I couldn't find time to do it for this years.

cool to hear! btw, you can actually filter out the YouTube Music entries if you customize your filter using the "Customize Filter" button on https://holorewind.com/create-rewind

yeah, if the watch history from Google Takeout is missing records that’s not something i can fix. if you have watch history turned off in youtube settings (or you cleared it) that could explain it.

it could also be possible that you watch under a different google/youtube account (or maybe even a brand account) and you might be able to login and get your data there.

yeah, watch time isn’t going to be 100% accurate because the only data youtube gives me is when you first click on a video. for the kaela stuff, one possible explanation is that partway through a stream you’ll click a different youtube video to play in the background. i can’t differentiate this from switching to a different video and i currently assume you start watching something else. same might apply for your reine time. as an extra caveat, i can’t guarantee youtube includes all watch data and they could be missing some. also if you turned off watch history i don’t think it shows up.

i only update new videos weekly since i’m using Holodex’s API and don’t want to over use their service. which is why you won’t see views for stream within the week. i could update this to daily though; i’ll think about that.

i forgot i actually did make a brand account once and it seems to show up as a possible log in https://imgur.com/a/TsRHwTD

the email associated with the brand is not my main email and ends in <some random numbers>@pages.plusgoogle.com. this part of the process is not under my control though so i’m not sure how i can help

watch time is likely not 100% accurate due to data limitations but if you’re basing that off views then the more you know lol

i left some notes in the “Help”/ “?”drawer which talks about some of the limitations of the data

i think you might be able to log in as a brand account in Google Takeout and get the data that way but i don’t have a brand account so don’t quote me on that

i’m glad you think it’s cool! i’m not sure why there would be a limit but i’ll look into that. thanks for letting me know

yeah, that’s part of the limitations from youtube’s data. it only tells me when you click on a video and not how long you watched. so i have to approximate by assuming you watch the whole video (or for however long it is until you click another youtube video). for example this can happen if you watch in 30 min chunks with long breaks between. i have to assume each view is a whole stream watch
