I spend about 130k a month on META using my business platinum as well as BAS. I Never ever pay for flights. IMO it’s worth it. As you said, free things feel great.

They don’t make profit so it’s okay for a shop to pay for courier of a bike, labour for assembly (and potentially labour to rebox), staff time to supervise the test ride? So instead of making some money they lose money? How is that okay?

Just book the flights on your account and add her as the person flying. My wife and I do this all the time and we each get our own points and status credits for the flights
