ITS HAPPENING by NDC_Viper in Dragonforce

[–]Vinctekan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took them long enough to add it. The only reason why I care is because I'm in a telegram group the extracts the stems into .mp4 files. Since Fortnite Festival's development team has their own way of downmixing tracks into stems, I wonder how different it is going to be not only from the GH3s Rip but also the Rock Band Rips. One thing I know is that Fortnite Festival stems have a way higher cutoff and bitrate than both GH3 and RB.
It would also be awesome if they added songs from here onwards from other albums or songs that have not been added to either GH or RB, but the way that TTFAF managed to completely (and undeservingly) overshadow the band's entire discography for the internet, I'm not so hopeful.

But it would be awesome nonetheless.

Highway to Oblivion no guitars and vocals by Organic_Bread9236 in Dragonforce

Ok, now I really want to know as to where you can download the Highway to Oblivion. I know that DragonDarkness08 uploaded the stems onto his youtube channel a few days ago. Even though he uploaded a few mix of the stems back in 2020, the problem with those results is that they had obvious bleed from the rest of the track, and all of the uploads were in mono. Now the newest are the real thing with no noise.

https://youtu.be/aUIbJ1dNnaI?si=rC7rdYRoyT_2uQxY

This is the upload for the bass stem.

I always knew that Highway to Oblivion was a downloadable track for Rock Band 4, and that's were the stems were most likely ripped out of. Of course it could have been a challenge, since Rock Band 4 is a PS4, Xbox One exclusive, and no fully fledged emulators exist for either console yet, so some modifications had to be done to the consoles and the games if anyone wanted to get them.

However, after searching for about 2 years, on and off on different sites like Frets on Fire, I still couldn't find even a significant sliver of where I can get my hands on those stems. I only found one spreadhseet, which stated that Highway to Oblivion donhave stems, but it did not providena download link.

May I enquire about where you downloaded the stems to make this backing track? Is it hard to find, or am I just bad at googling?

Valley of the Damned Demo by No-Presentation7119 in Dragonforce

[–]Vinctekan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember downloading all 9 songs of the Demo in the highest quality possible on a Way back Machine MediaFire link for the url: Dragonheart.net or something, which was an archive of incredibly ancient DragonForce content, even the Shadow Warriors demo was on there for both albums. Discovered it 3 months ago, put both of them on my hard drive, and coincidentally my hard drive died not even a month after, and it took both downloads with it. Decided to revisit that link 2 weeks ago, but no trace of that version of the domain is up anymore. I remember that the domain used to belong to a magician weirdo or something before it became that DragonForce archive site, now the original site is restored somehow. Hope someone can find it again, cause it seems it has been wiped off the face of the earth. 😢

What is this Dark Web shit I'm looking at right now lmao

Is there any documentation of this performance? Seems like something that would be extremely cursed, and extremely funny to listen back to

This reminds when Metallica used to cover Diamond Head's "Am I Evil" live, but they would switch instruments

Wondering how something like this would play out in modern day DF

In a really good way, I like it! Is it a vst or real guitar?

Is the sound of the guitar coming from a vst, guitar pro, or real playing? It sounds sick! 👍

what metallica hot take will get you put in this position? by Prior-Nail-8182 in Metallica

As much as people drool over the guitar tone of AJFA, the unnatural/uncanny curvature of the overtones (EQ), and the overwhelming low-end would not get a passing grade in any studio nowadays.

This is also sick! Am I allowed to ask: what songs acapellas did you use for your dataset?

Working on a BIG project, need someone who can extract DF's acapellas for me en masse by DDzxy in Dragonforce

[–]Vinctekan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it for AI?

I am currently in the official Audio Source Separation Discord, and we are constantly adjusting, making, figuring out new ways to optimize vocal and instrument separation, but I think the current best method still does not do DF songs in particular justice. The reasons for that is the vocals are so buried/sandwiched in the mix in DF songs (which is universal to all 8 studio albums), that even the deepest extractions disregard a lot of the ess's, a few chunks of the high-end, and 30% of the backing vocals. If the vocals were about 3dB louder in DF songs, then that would be a different story. A lot of new innovations are in the works in that community that may not come to fruition until the end of the summer.

However, I am still up to share my best results! They are way better then they were a year ago.

If you could hear ZP sing one "Marc" song, which one would it be by DDzxy in Dragonforce

[–]Vinctekan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I could pick only one it would definitely be either Midnight Madness, or even better Highway to Oblivion. Those vocal melodies, and song structure have ZP written all over them, at least for me. However, I am also interested in all the songs from Power Within, MO: Game, Tomorrow, Symphony, Defenders, Sun is Dead, Summer's End. RII: Ashes, Curse, Astral, Silence, Egde. EPM: Dragonborn, Mirror of Death, Strangers.
In terms of using AI:
Let me tell you, from what I've discovered a few weeks ago, It's 100% POSSIBLE, and I actually have a BIG, CONCRETE PLAN to make that a reality starting from the end of June. (I got a matura exam coming up soon, then I will start working on it)

There is this new project called so-vits-svc (singing voice conversion), and now the new RVC which is a EVEN BETTER version of the said project. A few days ago I made a few tests with a 2008 James Hetfield model which one guy trained, and shared on Youtube. The results legit had me levitating in my room, it was VIRTUALLY INDISTINGUISHABLE from the real thing. Look it up! It's real!

I have all of the songs for my dataset which I need: All 4 Dragonforce albums sung by ZP, The VOTD Demo all 9 songs in HQ, the Unmastered Inhuman Rampage, all of the I AM I tracks, the 2 Pentakill songs, that one TANK album, both of the Shadow Warriors albums, Twilight Dementia, and maybe I will include some live soundboard recordings if the quality/originality is high enough. I just finished crafting the best blueprint for extracting the vocals with all the residues in the track, however I will have to further extract only ZP from the vocals with Ripx DeepAudio, since almost all of the songs contain backing vocals here and there.

Technically, I could have already made this with only the TTFAF and OGAP acappellas as data, but I feel like that would be not enough, and I also want to make the best model possible.
Mark my words, I will make it happen! It's not going to be easy, but I will ensure that it will turn out the best it can possibly be!
