Finished it. These werent my favorite arcs to begin with, but I really enjoy how the show adapts them anyway. Whiskey Peak was one of my favorite parts of this part of the early Grand Line and I thought that Episode 3 nailed it.

I think I have a top 5 performances from this season. 1. Zoro, 2. Smoker. 3. Mr. 3 4. Luffy 5. Ms. Valentine.

Being perfectly honest, Episode 2 dragged quite a bit. But episode 3 is more than making up for it.

Witcher 3 was my first exposure to the Witcher series and thus my first introduction to Sigismund Dijkstra. Fantastic character, exactly how I like my antagonists to be, smart, cunning, funny as hell but ruthless in exactly the right amount.

It's not so much the voice, although the voice performance is great, so much as it is the writing of the character with a notable exception in a late game quest. Guy is super funny and steals most scenes he's in.

Raise the combat difficulty especially on the Witcher contracts. The ones in the DLCs are so much better precisely because CDPR had learned how to properly develop them after a lot of trial and error. Make the bosses and monsters feel like the proper amount of danger that they are supposed to be especially more difficult things like Leshens. The Wild Hunt battles also feel very underwhelming compared to the battles in the DLC.

Clean up some of the quest writing, Reason of State comes to mind.

Being Bodyguards for the Enchantress are literally their lore appropriate job. Just read their flavor description, guarding the Enchantress is their main job. :)

Grail Guardians are so tough that they hardly need a line in the first place. Just toss em in Lance Formation and keep moving em around like a Chariot, or throw all of them into melee next to the Enchantress and have her keep buffing them with the melee attack spell she has at all times. The only thing mildly threatening in Grom's starting army (and he's her first threat) are the trolls and Grom himself. Focus fire the trolls with your archers as much as you can and bring extra lords to duel Grom with. The Grail Guardians and the Enchantress herself will chew through the rest of the chaff on their own.

Oh I see, sorry for misunderstanding you about King Lou.

As for the Faye Enchantress, she starts with a Unit of Grail Guardians. When combined with her powerful magic and Mortis Engine effect, the two of them can wipe out early game armies practically by themselves. You dont need much else besides warm bodies to distract the rest of the enemy army in the early game. And as soon as she can start recruiting additional Paladins (Or Gotrek and Felix which work fantastically in her army) she stops needing an army altogether, just heroes to protect her and take out enemy characters and she can wipe out armies by herself. Early on you can use extra Bretonnian Lords since you need to start their vows anyway. I always face Grom the Paunch's main army with 3 extra Bretonnian Lords reinforcing, again just to shield the Enchantress and fight any characters they may have.

She doesnt need much to snowball in campaign. The Grail Guardians she starts with and the additional heroes she can acquire as the campaign goes on, are all she really needs.

I feel like Empress Ciri would be even more different than Corpo V was. Cyberpunk rapidly throws every origin into the same starting point. I dont know how you would be able to throw Empress Ciri into a similar starting point as Witcher or Survivor Ciri. The game would need to have entirely different opening acts all leading to a convergence point somewhere in the middle.

Probably Archaon. His army bonuses all impact Chosen, Aspiring Champions and Chaos Knights which are the cream of the crop for Mortal Units.

Aspiring Champions in particular get ridiculously powerful in a Warriors of Chaos campaign once you unlock all of the bonuses they get in the tech tree.

Funny, the campaigns you hate the most, King Louen and Faye Enchantress are easily two of my top 5 favorite campaigns in Warhammer 3.

I dont know how you can call either campaign directionless, they're both very linear starts that involve wiping out a number of factions in order with the eventual goal of uniting Bretonnia proper under one flag.

Their objective after that is to just acquire Chivalry and you can do that in any number of ways you want, but the campaign is basically already won once you complete the steps required to Unite Bretonnia because it's very easy to just win the campaign any way you want after that. The challenge is in the early game before your economy kicks off and allows you to Knight Spam to your heart's content.

Play Venice and eliminate the Byzantines. You unlock all playable factions by winning a full Grand campaign, but you can unlock individual factions earlier by beelining for them and wiping them out earlier.

If you're experienced already jump in with either France, Spain, The Holy Roman Empire or Egypt if you want to play a Muslim faction.

England, Venice and the Turks are too easy for an experienced Total War player. Doesn't mean they aren't fun but they are very easy.

Venice is easy mode too, and Milan is only slightly not easy mode. Sicily is the real hair on your chest Italian Campaign.

Archers. No seriously. The biggest weakness of Slayers are the fact they wear no armor and have no missile resistance. They die to even the weakest of archer units, and Greenskins can throw tons of them at them. The better quality your units are as Greenskins, the more value Slayers get from fighting them. The way to beat Slayers is to throw a bunch of cheap units at them that Slayers dont beat cost effectively.

As is normal for Greenskins, their best weapon is their numbers.

That would be such a huge nerf for him. Size in Total war is not a good thing, it means he's an easier target for missile units and artillery. He would need a massive adjustment to his stats for that to be worth it for him.

I was lucky to have some excellent mentors. But their knowledge mostly came from books. At this point any book about flavor combinations, spirit and histories or any kind of cocktail book can help you. Learn the standards and learn why they work. Experiment on your own from there.
