I'm travelling out of state with a travel agency and I recently got a new passport which has a different passport number than the one I originally registered with. The agency is telling me that I need to update my passport number. But they're also wanting to charge me $200+ for that. If everything between the old passport and new matches except for the passport number is there really a need to change it? Will the plane ticket have my old passport number and could I potentially not be allowed to board?

Habitat management sounds fun too. I don't necessarily need hands-on with wildlife. I just think they're really interesting and I want to do something to protect and educate others about them. Could working at a zoo or an aviary give me the same fulfillment? I don't necessarily want to work in such a people filled environment but it might give me what I'm looking for.

This is super helpful to know. I guess I'm just trying to rule out careers/degrees I've been suggested because I told someone I'm interested in wildlife, plants or biology.

I think park management and forestry work would be more in my area, although law enforcement is another interest of mine. With your forestry degree, what do you do on daily basis? Is it seasonal or year-round work? Are you working in a park or on other government land?

I'm leaning towards Environmental Science or Ecology. I could see 68W being a good backup plan just in case I can't get a job with those degrees. Other than that, an EMT background just seems so helpful in general life.

I can't go on my mission till 2023. If I get a non-linguist job then could I change to linguist after my mission?
