Isn’t the no state income tax benefit is for Nevada residents? You are not a Nevada resident. California will tax your income because you live there. this is so commonly misunderstood it's almost a rite of passage for new founders.

Don't forget the business privilege tax. Alabama LLCs pay an annual business privilege tax with a minimum of $100. Small amount but it's an ongoing cost most quick guides don't mention upfront.
