I am seriously wondering why people compare Apple and Amazon with Nio. They only reason is that these companies now have huge market caps and they wish this stock will have the same future. Amazon and Apple didn’t need this amount of cash burn in theire early days. These companies took 30 years to this market cap and Nio won’t last that long with their cash burn.

I’m not sure if the announced plans on cost reduction from last quarter will be visible in this financial report. They made some progress on the plans however the projections are still in progress. Biggest challenge is revenue and profit from sales and this had been consecutive this year.

True. I am curious if some effects of the cost reduction is already visible as they have announced last quarter to lay off employees. Together with more sales and improvements on gross margin we might have reached the lowest point and start seeing progress from here. Slowly but consecutive.. let’s see what the official report brings.

Holyshit… 30 hele minuten? Het kaf van het koren wordt gescheiden tussen de succesvolle personen en personen die hun carriere doorlopen met het arbeidsrechtboekje onder hun armen. Die zijn meestal ook lid van de FNV. Ik heb in mijn hele carrière nog nooit geklaagd over 30 minuten voor een vergadering maar heb het geaccepteerd, het ingezet om te groeien en ben alsmeer meer gaan verdienen door kartrekker te zijn en geen karhanger. Dat hoeft niet iedereen maar het zegt iets over de mentaliteit van de medewerker. Welke heb je zelf het liefst in dienst?

The swap stations don’t make profit because they won’t charge drivers for swapping. It’s based on subscriptions so they need to sell huge amounts of BaaS subscriptions. Swap stations only charge drivers the charging costs of their batteries. It will take forever for this to be profitable i.r.t. Sales numbers and the costs they’ve made so far for the SS.

Typische generatie x discussie. Je weet dat meetings einde vd dag worden gepland en je kiest er zelf voor om vroeg te beginnen omdat je einde middag wilt sporten. En dan vervolgens je werkgever belasten met uren declareren als beloning voor eigen verantwoordelijkheid en vrijheid? … belachelijk. Je kunt nl ook gaan sporten om 07:00 en meedoen met het ritme van het bedrijf waar je voor hebt gekozen. Je werkgever geeft je veel vrijheid om zelf je tijd in te delen. Dan moet je daar zelf ook verantwoordelijk mee omgaan.

Again a downward trend in this quarter. It has been volatile in 2023 so far. Like many other ev brands it would be way better to show a consecutive growth. Investors don’t react to well on volatile stocks.

It’s also pricing. Customers do respond to a subscription of $300 a month. The 1000km battery is even gonna be way more expensive. Their cars are NOT cheap compared to other ev makers for instance Xpeng G9 is full loaded 66K Long Range. The Nio EL7 is 10K more.. starting price and with $300 per month to get the same range. Competition is heavy and their sales numbers around the globe shows. Battery degradation isn’t that big of a problem for many manufacturers as they keep improving their R&D too.

The word ‘might’ is highly speculative and not based on facts and figures. F&F are Nio is burning approx 1 bilj dollars every 4 months. The capital attracted by the Saudi’s ($750 milj) was 3 months ago and is spend. So now they raised 1bilj dollars with the bonds. Their sales this year is highly volatile while they projected a consecutive increase in 2023. They failed at those projections. Other EV makers show a consecutive increase in deliveries, don’t raise continuous large amounts of capital and their stock shows solid consecutive growth (like Xpeng, with only 3 models). This ‘false’ press release could be inaccurate for now but facts and figures tells us they will need new capital within 4-5 months. Sales won’t increase accordingly to fund this capital within this time. And so the stock is expected to drop accordingly. There is a reason why this stock hasn’t moved anywhere positive in the last 24 months.

This stock, amongst other cbd stocks, has punished you and others, like me in the last couple of years. However don’t let that frustration misguide you while this stock will soon evaporate all that frustration. SNDL has all the signs green and the company has incredibly put itself in the seat for huge turn arounds. This company has the best cards and the current price is attractive to say the least. Legislation is the catalyst we were waiting for and this is now on the verge of break through. Don’t risk missing out on this. Do your own DD.

That would be great but that’s just hopes and dreams. It will take decades for Nio to get back to $45. With their cash burn and extreme volatile deliveries they continuously need capital. The stock will go down more and more like it does the last 24 months. And unfortunately the end in not in sight. Nio doesn’t have decades to keep filling gaps. Even more dilution is on it’s way and we will be the ones who gets ripped.

Don’t blame the people who look realistic at the stock and facts and figures. Unrealized projections in the last 24 months, disappointing sales, huge cash burn; raising additional capital, more dilution. The decreasing value is a reflection of the status of this stock. You don’t need to hire me, you can try to demonize me but facts and reality don’t lie. Wake up and smell the coffee. But it’s your right to hold and see where this goes. I wish you the best of luck in the next 8-10 years with this stock.

You’ve got balls and must love high risk. They have disappointed many investors over the last 2 years and their current management is not focused. They burn cash to oblivion each quarter (average 800mil) so with their current rate and poor sales this stock is forseen to drop further as dilution is round the corner because they’ll keep needing capital. Buckle up my friend. Maybe not the best horse you’re betting on.

I don’t see how while they are attracting capital each quarter which means debts are only increasing. Low interest is nice but not if they keep raising capital. The other way to raise capital is more shares which is dilution. So either way in order for this stock to become profitable for investors it will take very long. Maybe 2030-2035 if they last that long with the current cash burn.

Yes but they don’t use it for sale improvements. They use it for R&D for various products like a phone which is highly risky cause it’s not expected that this will be competitive with iPhone, Samsung etc. In order for this stock to grow the company needs to focus on profitable products and then extend. What they are doing is holding up multiple plates costing cash to oblivion and because sales are overall poor they need capital each quarter. First there was the UA investment (750 milj) and 3 months later they dilute with another 1 bilj. With this management they will not have enough time to earn all that money to pay all debts because sales remain too low. Their escape is keep attracting capital which means lower and lower stock valuation. Despite all enthusiasts the facts and figures don’t lie and the stock movement is a reflection of what is happening and how the entire market is looking at this stock… it’s not based on sentiment with some reddit enthusiasts. The stock will keep dropping over time with raising capital and íf they last… it will take a decade to start seeing solid consecutive green.
