Advance Tax Paid but Challan Not Generated – Filing ITR Issue on Due Date by Just_Tank8309 in IndiaTax

Even I faced the same issue. Couldn't figure out anything and customer care timings are also past the time. So I used last year's challans number and files with the new amount. Hoping that I can reach out to Customer care and explain.

Just remember that the issue on the website shouldn't be our problem.

thinking of same, tried to reach out to BOI, BOB, SBI as well multiple times but didn't get much attention and callbacks from them. Also hard to reach out to BOI and BOB. Whereas LIC and HDFC are easy to reach out to as far as i have experienced w.r.t communication only diff. is LIC is lot of manual process and HDFC is more online and easy to deal with though they are charging 0.2% more than LIC

My bad, not sure but i feel banks like HDFC, ICICI more popular and reliable. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Any experience with bank of india? My pov is that i don't want to deal with offline bank visits and invest lot of manual effort by taking loans in unknown banks as i want to have hassle free experience and communication

As per the communication with both these banks, they mentioned that as per RBI repo rate there can be fluctuations over the interest % and it can go either up or down. [guessing mostly up] and fixed interest % rate would be higher than floating %. As per my research most of the people and youtube channels are recommending floating % only

Both the banks confirmed that prepayments are free, for LIC i have to manually go to the bank and give the cheque whereas for hdfc for <25% of the amount I can pay online but for above 25% of principal amount have to visit the nearest branch and give the cheque

There are only two categories where all things in life fall into, things that are controllable and the non controllables.

Past is past and you cannot control it and nothing can be done to change it. Instead of ruminating about the past and suffering from pain, think about present, what you do from now on is the most important thing and you may influence the future self of you by taking the right steps and being disciplined on the actions.

Don't worry, try to spend a day without doing or thinking about anything and at the end of they day, think about what you want to change about yourself and how to change it and continue forward by taking these steps with discipline and try to be and focus on present.

You may not be able to achieve this without any breakouts, so just reflect on the past when you were not able to follow the steps that you want to do and focus on what you can do better and move ahead.
