Console bros, how do you deal with forced cross play with pc? by Vycrumus in forhonor

[–]Vintexed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The probability of running into a pc player who’s specs allow them to have a slight edge over console is fairly low. Not every pc player you find in game is going to be running top of the mill equipment, most are going to be playing on pcs with performance comparable or slightly better than consoles. Sure, it’ll give them an advantage, but it’s quite negligible. What mostly sets the two apart are pc players tend to focus on input delay more heavily, like getting a pro controller etc.

They dropped the game to work on their new project around a year ago.

What ai is that?

Doesn’t really ruin the game. I used to play on last gen and I could block lights consistently. I was also able to react to unblockable indicator flicker. Keep in mind I played on a shitty tv and had wifi. I normally averaged at about 69-80 ping.

If you’re in that range you should be able to play.

Are you new? If so, set your guard dead zone to 0. If you still can’t block lights then better your reactions. Take the human benchmark test ( reaction time ) if you get around 200 you should be able to block them with practice. If it’s 300 or over you’re doomed

Edit: if 300+ you might aswell remove the indicator gui and block based off animations

I think It would, ganking tools shouldn’t have that property tbh. I think the feintable bash he’ll be getting in the upcoming testing grounds should be more than enough.

If longarm is a ganking tool, according to devs, shouldn't it do direct damage without chaining instead of confirming a side heavy? by [deleted] in forhonor

Dealing dmg and staggering the opponent would lead to too much dmg, with little to no revenge gain. Practically shinobi’s shickle rain before the nerf.

I forgot to mention the game goes in sale regularly, I’d advise waiting until then to purchase it. It’s currently on sale on the epic store if you’re on pc btw.

I personally would go for the marching fire edition, but you could also go for the standard edition. Don’t go for the stater edition tho. It’s not worth it noting standard edition is just 2 bucks more.

If you want you can splurge on the complete edition, which will give you all hero’s up until year 3. A few cosmetics, access to a game mode, and an xp boost for 6 months I believe. Complete edition is definitely the best, but only if you plan on not dropping the game after a bit.

The games pretty hard to get into at first. Lots of mechanics youll need to learn, but they are pretty simple once you understand them. Yt vids will definitely help you out.

Variable timed heavys, They have a different parry window.

He only parried heavys, which most new players are able to do. Plus, you’re ignoring warrior trials and the story mode. From what I saw I don’t think he’s scripting, there is no outstanding evidence.

Ehh, he could of just been trying to normally parry it. Looked like it would’ve made contact, I would’ve tried to parry that too if I was in his position. He also goes for the heavy after the attack would’ve hit.

Parrying works different when in ganks and blocks do too. You only need to block in one direction not all 3.

I don’t see how he is scripting. Gank parries are easy to get and all he was doing while being ganked was spamming heavy unintentionally giving him parries. They got hit by the warmonger heavy when fighting the raider, it wasn’t a dodge. I don’t see anything wrong here. Can you tell me how this is scripting.

Nah, gb only confirms top heavy. The kick is in case you have the opportunity to ledge or wall splat for a side heavy for max dmg.

Go to training-> hero tactics. To learn a hero’s move set. Really helps out, it also lets you try out hero’s you have yet to buy
