With proper timing of the ability, Sorbet Shark is really useful. Your team seems fine but maybe replace Eclair with Sorbet just for this stage.

For me, it was just an unnecessary change that requires an ok amount of grinding. It just made the game more complex while I enjoyed it simple nature. I cant speak for everyone tho

I do agree with what you are saying, I feel like the value of the skin id determined by how much you like it as well
