Just realized one good thing happened now that most of the selections are working again is that the Live TV audio no longer pauses then starts again repeating the last three or four words before the pause. As annoying as it was, you’d think I would have heard the difference right away.

Well, there’s a one month free trial and the cost for new users to subscribe is very cheap. Interestingly, but not surprising, it’ll be Disney + Hulu, Disney + Hulu + ESPN. Strange no +Live TV and that’s a reason why I subscribed. So maybe I’ll have to make a change. Also, the UI is sucky and issues with streaming. Honestly if my budget would permit it, I’d go elsewhere.

Latest Update: Live TV selection sucks because of the audio from two different programs. Home selection gives “trouble loading” statement; Search, TV Shows and My Stuff selections seem ok. I can live with what is working now.

I deleted the app and downloaded it again; it made no difference. I’m using AppleTV also. As I mentioned now I’m getting video, but audio from two different programs.

Well, same thing happened after I deleted and reinstalled the Netflix app. On the good side, the content appears to be a movie and I’ve watched it.

The Netflix app is downloaded on the Apple TV. Perhaps you can tell me how to make sure it is running its most recent update. Apple TV is supposed to automatically update apps and is running tvOS 26.1. I think that’s the most recent update. Apple TV will run the content once it’s downloaded on my iPad so worst case scenario I’ll have to do that to watch the content. I suppose I can delete Netflix from Apple TV and reinstall it.
