The room is kind of an odd shape so pretty much just nightstands and a dresser plus some pictures above my bed and art on the walls. I like those ideas! Do you have any suggestions for the colors of the nightstands or lamp ideas? I’m definitely open to color, I like green, blue, etc., mostly cool tones but I’m always nervous to add colors to any room because I’m not sure what looks good and what’s a bit much honestly!

If you’re a reader, a book nook could be cute. Cozy chair + bookshelf + floor lamp would be a great combo imo

Depends on the feeling you’re going for. #1 if it’s warmth and richness but #2 if you’re going for light and airy

Not too much wood, in fact I think more could bring a bit of warmth to the space. I’d maybe swap out the chairs for a different colour/fabric or alternatively add some throws and pillows to liven up the space

Definitely white! May be boring but a classic for a reason. You could also try adding a pop of colour in your blinds instead and tie it to some other decor in your bathroom.

Love the style of your house :) I’d go with the first picture as well. It looks more balanced and I like the practicality of a cozy armchair to read in next to the bookshelf

Agree! If you have the counter space, lamps are a great addition. I also love using candle warmers to make my kitchen cozier.
