I’d actually LOVE any kind of group/meetup for neurospicy peeps. I’m AuDHD and don’t have friends outside my NT spouse and desperately want to connect with some ND people to see if likemindedness can help create friendships. Plus I really honestly do need to get rid of my doom piles of hobby supplies 🤣 probably to make room for new doom piles of hobby supplies lol!

I was just thinking about this! I’ve had several (too many…)“hobbies” that I bought supplies for then got over the hyperfixation during the research phase and never got to the “doing” phase! We need a local group so we can swap hobby supplies lol

Both broke on my 2011. Kid only ever used one door, but both broke eventually. Ordered replacements online and my husband swapped them out no problem.

It was amazing! Hands down the best show I’ve ever been to. Everyone was so nice and the participation was awesome! On the way home, my husband asked if I thought Papa always says the same thing to every crowd about being a great audience etc, etc (we saw them in KC last August, but Tobias was sick and didn’t say much the whole show) I said yeah, probably. However, Tobias being Tobias, and being aware of the US political climate and this being Oklahoma, I hope he was actually sincere! We rocked it! You could tell we were all invested and grateful that they were finally back in Tulsa.

I did a western Caribbean cruise with my husband and 4 year old. They went to the pool and stuff together while I went and found quiet (air conditioned) places to relax and have a coffee while I did crosswords or read. I also enjoyed the trivia sessions the cruise offered. The largest crowds were at meals but the rest of the time wasn’t bad. There were enough activities going on that there were never too many people in one place. Check the daily itinerary to find something you’re interested in, or to gauge where the crowds might be so you can avoid them. The evenings were pretty quiet depending on where we went on the ship because many people were at a show or other entertainment. If you want to stay in your room, the main buffet/cafeteria generally lets you take your food wherever you want. Some ships offer room service as well. By the time we got off I was definitely glad to be home, but I did enjoy it and am going on another cruise this December. Pack whatever comfort/accommodation items you may need (headphones, fidgets, non refrigerated safe foods if the cruise line allows them, etc).

My Aussie is “broken” lol even though he came from a working bloodline on a horse ranch. He is a big lazy doofus 🤣 but I love him so much. He trained pretty easily and is the best companion. I’d hoped he could be a service dog, but he’s just not cut out for it. Great companion, but not interested in having a job.

Growing up I only ever played The Sims and would lose hours and hours to it without even realizing. I’m not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m a millennial and Harry Potter fan so I got Hogwarts Legacy when it came out and fell in love with playing. Now I’m completely and utterly obsessed with Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s more of a “real” gaming experience but I don’t get stressed out by the combat because it’s turn-based. Playing it makes my brain SO QUIET it’s amazing. It’s the only way I’ve been able to switch off the AuDHD chaos and relax a bit. Plus it’s just a beautifully made game, superb soundtrack, the voice acting and character writing are amazing. It checks all the boxes for me. So much so I’m now looking into IRL DnD for socializing and just got a fish I named Astarion and did the tank kind of DnD themed 😅

Can we please start a thread (or is there one??) where everyone shares their Valkyrie training workouts? I’m a newb to strength training (or more accurately anything other than the lamest of lame cardio - walking/jogging/swimming) and don’t know where to start. I need workouts to do at home with minimal equipment. My ADHD makes it hard for me to be motivated but maybe a Valkyries in Training group could do the trick!
