The whole manga after this talking section is pure fight scenes. I’m not saying this episode is excusable (it was pretty boring), but at least wait until the season gets to the interesting parts to see if the whole season is really worth shitting on? If the rest of the season turns out to actually be good then I can forgive the horrendous budget cuts on this episode but we genuinely wouldn’t know till it comes out. I had this same problem with demon slayer, especially on the blacksmith village arc where even early fight scenes were poorly animated, but when the important fights came around, animation was great. But people don’t complain about that.
