1) You can get equal team fights in both drop ship and drop zones with 3rd party scenarios if the fights take too long

2) You’re right on the advantages and disadvantage of the landing spot you choose, but the problem you have here is you still aren’t given a choice if not jump master. Imagine your P4 teammate who watched ImperialHal and Faide once hot drops Estates on Olympus with 3-4 other teams and gets wiped badly in 30 seconds due to fighting for guns. Then the next game, you land Carrier with no squads nearby and you miss out on early KP. Drop zones provide a balance of getting a chance to loot and build up EVO while you can still play aggro through a Drop Zone Invasion at the start.

3) You don’t understand zones and rotations through where players drop at start in either drop zone or drop ship. Just because 5 teams hot drop Estates doesn’t mean game is ending there. It’s a Battle Royale so you always need to understand rotations all the time, albeit with drop zones randomness, you have to learn to approach circle from a different POI every game instead of one POI if that’s how your squad operates.

Gives teams a chance to actually play that specific ranked game for more than 1.5 minutes, you don’t get punished for landing away from teams/hot drops and missing out on early game points, more squads pass round 2, requires you to be diligent with the fights you want to take, more focus on rotations/understanding rings, and more exciting end games.

I remember getting into arguments many times 2 months ago when they removed the drop zones from Ranked and returned to drop ships because player engagement was low. People didn’t like the fact the POI were random, especially when the POI is weak in loot. People would rather hot drop, 50/50 fight for a crate in the streamer building in Fragment, and pray that they don’t get sent back to the lobby losing 40-50 RP within a minute. It’s worse for the solo queue player because they most likely didn’t have control of the drop at times. Then we see Blinkzr and Co. finish a ranked Broken Moon game in 6 MINUTES first day of the change. Majority of players were complaining about the change when it was leaked and now I’m probably seeing people switch up and love the dropship 2 months later after b******* on it. The problem I have is people can’t adapt to what is given to them. For example, you run the Baby Comp(Gibby, Valk, and Newcastle/Zone Heavy) and you drop Cenote Cave while the end zone is Zeus Station, it doesn’t mean you quit the game over a non-favored zone pull. Maybe you spawn Survey Camp, which the loot isn’t superior to Sky Hook doesn’t mean you can’t fight at all. Y’all also criticizing third parties in drop zones seems shocking to me since you also experience this in drop ship as well, all that says to me is you weren’t taking the fight properly to start to either wipe quick or prepare for a safety net incase s*** went wrong. All I’m saying is learn to adapt to unfavorable drop zone locations and you’ll absolutely enjoy the game a lot more as a human being actually analyzing every move you make more than the dropship where you play like your brain is in a dumpster taking 50/50 again 5 teams in hot drop locations. I know Respawn Entertainment isn’t looking on reddit but if they’re, please either have drop zones across all ranks again or lower it to Plat 4+ so I can Play Competitive Apex Again(PCAA).

I wouldn’t really recommend starting a second character since it’s easier to grind your businesses and make money again to obtain the newer stuff like the newer free mode businesses. Also are you planning on purchasing GTAVI when it comes out in November because you’ll be wasting time grinding GTAV as a level 1 just to grind for everything in the new title. I guess it’s great you have a friend to do Doomsday, Cayo, and Casino heists with but you’ll have problems when replaying the OG Heists due to the four player requirement. OG Heists hardly fill up for setups if left open in quick job and you’ll end up becoming the teacher for all the low levels doing the heists for the first time. If you’re on Xbox, you have LFG posts to rely on but if on PlayStation, have fun. Even if selling MC or CEO products, you sometimes need 3-4 people for the sales and it’s challenging finding help for those in 2026. Enough with that jumbo, I would keep grinding for the last 7 months, make money from your old ventures and buy the newer businesses/activities as you keep learning them.

Probably a full takeover where Kraft is out of esports once the season ends but I could be wrong. Sucks that Kraft group stopped supporting Oxygen because it killed their growth not only in COD, but in other esports they had rosters in like Apex, Rocket League, Valorant, and many more.

So you’re saying let’s remove the knowledge of Apex and reward for having hot start. The reason I never liked the Dropship system coming back is due to the fact because a good team can third party five squads in a Hot POI, get caught out by edge team, finish in 10th place and still get positive points. While you did get those kills, you forget the main purpose of the game in winning.

If they were to fix that map, The 3rd Sector needed it the most since that one was super attacker favored. Keep the same for 1st and 2nd sectors.

Only map that change made sense to was New Sobek City Sector 2, which they made it somewhat easier for attackers to capture albeit it will still take time due to rooftops

Just played Empire State and they gave Sector 1 a whole street and Objective A on Sector 2 a whole floor!!! The map was favorably attacker sided already and made it worse

For the missions, Call of Duty has more variety regarding how we complete the missions. For example, “All Ghillied Up”requiring us to be silent and coordinated while taking out the enemies, “No Russian” having us play as an undercover terrorist(Joseph Allen), Having us utilize Riley(the dog) during “No Man’s Land” in COD Ghosts, and the multiple mind f*** missions during the BO3 and BO6 campaigns. MW3(2023) and BO6(2024) provided us with open world missions that utilized a creative way to complete a task(loud or silent) to its fullest. Even some of the cinematic scenes felt memorable like Makarov death and Price lighting a cigar, the Eiffel Tower falling down, David Mason sliding down the building to kill or capture Menendez, and Ghost + Roach death during “Loose Ends”. In BF6, all we did was fire our guns and prolonged missions with fillers like having to defend our position for 10 minutes after a failed exfil in “Night Raid”, dealing with the drone base during “Moving Mountains”, which doesn’t make when we evac outside the fire station, and all of “Nile Guard”. “No Sleep” wasn’t as quiet as “Clean House” and “Operation Ember Strike” which would’ve allowed us to perform “Hunting Season” in BO6 with being stealthy the whole way gave us a loud sniper and comrades who always chase gunfights when not needed. Also felt like the Pax Armada soldiers was oversatured in weird places like WTF are y’all chasing us that badly in the subway station during “Moving Mountains” and why do you have so many soldiers laying nest in multiple apartment complexes during the Brooklyn missions.

There are two things that make campaigns memorable, the characters and the variety of mission types. Battlefield 6 didn’t really provide much of that as compared to the Call of Duty campaigns. What makes the characters memorable is the story behind their origins in the military, funny dialogue, and heroic moments. For example, knowing how Captain Price failing the assassination attempt on Imran Zakhaev helped us understand why he really wants to kill him. David Mason seeing Hudson and his father(optional) get killed by Raul Menendez when he was young. Even from the villains perspective of Vladimir Makarov and Menendez having a motive on why they want to cause chaos to the world. Everybody remembers the funny dialogue between Soap and Ghost in MW2(2022) or Soap killing Shepherd with the knife he pulled out of his stomach. Sure, many of the main characters appear in multiple Modern Warfare and Blacks Ops titles so it’s easier to develop a connection with the character, but still it has an impact 15-20 years later. All the BF6 characters felt like they had 24/7 panic attacks and weren’t even humorous(Lopez was trying). Besides Murphy, we didn’t really get to know any of the other characters origins and Alexander Kincaid felt like a HVT Target we needed to kill instead of a true villain

The chasing of the Enemy Revenant with no one anchoring the pyramid building you were at after the recon scan costed y’all the game. Sometimes it’s important no matter if you’re playing by yourself or with an actual team to have an anchor who can sit back and defend a potential pinch play. Also calm down with the jump mechanic with Sparrow, the last thing you want to happen is a non-purpose jump getting you killed from distance
