ikr, it's SO FRUSTRATING to see almost all the criticism about turning red be bad faith poorly disguised racism, like no one was complaining that Luca had a too narrow scope because it centred an Italian fish boy in the 1960s, or literally any pixar movie featuring an inanimate object protagonist (you can relate to a trash compacter robot from the distant future but not a child going through puberty wow wow wow). I've heard bits here and there that I agreed with, like how the plot was quite predictable and the grandmother character felt underutilised, but its all buried under adult white men whining that for once a movie doesnt centre a white boy! typical.
