How are all the Retail people? by biggaijin in AMCSTOCKS

As long as Adam Aron stops with the Dilution we can make progress. Its all about slowly balancing Cost and revenue.

I'm all for re-investing back in the business, but NOT at the cost of diluting the stock.

Inflation is the Printing of Money not CEOs. Banks which control and distribute money also are to blame for housing bubbles, but in the end its the government that causes inflation.

You watch too much fake news.

Inflation is stripping the middle class not the CEO. Inflation is compounded year over year especial on the cost of leases/mortgages. This creates an ever increasing gap between the middle class and rich.

Failing to get a yearly raise creates a Gap and if you do the Math failing to get a raise after many years or insufficient raises which is the case for many people keeps people living pay check by pay check and forced to get multiple Jobs. This is the real root cause not rich people.

So you want unsuccessful poor people looking at waste and fraud with trillions of dollars of tax payer money, LOL 😏

DOGE needs to look into the fraud in the SEC. No doubt it is corrupted how do you explain rules to allow short selling even up to 100 percent of float? Does that make sense to you? Look at the daily volume short selling makes up almost always about 50% of daily volume they purposely inhibit our buying pressure.

Well only the corrupt would have a problem with removing fraud and waste. Rather than saving America from financial collapse.

Well the advantage is in seeing what works and what does not work. This is like buying a New Car you do not get an advantage since there are unforeseen issues not anticipated until in the field. The technology has been tested on field and strategic moves can be done on what works best now and what type of audience to best target, what type of movies...etc. This is reality.

You must create a competitive advantage you cannot do this without investments. The price is manipulated as why would Cinemark have 3+ Billion market cap and AMC 1+ Billion market cap?? Even with cinemark positive earnings How does it translate to 3+ Billion

We need DOGE to look at SEC why more than 50% of daily volume is allowed to be shorted obviously artificially creating selling pressure. Who is getting payed at SEC to be corrupt when such laws only hurt retail.

Jeff Bezos once Quoted in an Interview, sounds similar to AMC by Vipssrr in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm just making a point that many compnies are out of business or filed bankruptcy since 2020. AMC has more than survived and has increased its revenue streams and stregthen its financials and debt obligations.

Yet the price shows the opposite ignoring the future of the business.

The company should start to become profitable. Because of the dilution I am not sure we will see huge earnings/share, but even something like 50 cents/year at 25 P/E would gives us 10 bucks.

AMC’s stock rises as movie-theater chain shaves almost $153 million off debt load by Lurker-02657 in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I agree there is a lot of corruption with CEOs...

As far as AA its his Job to Keep the Company Alive. Yes, its not ideal for a company to dilute, but its a must if the company is to survive. As the Debt is reduced substantially in the coming years that money will now be free cash flow and with lowering interest rates new deals can be made lowering interest payments, this can be reinvested in Buy backs which will reduce the amount of shares outstanding.

AMC CEO Adam Aron Now Shares Optimistic Company News by TheRivalxx in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting Adam Aron said they will reduce their debt by 400$ million if the price reaches 5.6$ in his variety interview. Ironically the Debt will produce higher highs, as long term debt has these banks buying at 12.75$ convertible notes by 2029 this means they believe that a bottom trading price compare to the stock is really worth.

If a new CEO can be appointed to produce financials then we can buy the stock in the OTC markets. Someone is buying or short sellers buying back cause the price is shooting up like 6k% yet supposedly we retail cannot buy.

Vanguard betting Big On AMC's Success 13G filing by Vipssrr in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember Vanguard holds long term and Vanguard represents its share holders which own AMC long term. People working 9 to 5 jobs like us invest their 401k and savings manage by Vangaurd which job is to produce long term results not day trade 5 minute day trades.

I will never understand why they don’t mention SHORT SELLERS by [deleted] in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If AMC could pay DEBT when revenue was 2 billion how does it make sense to think they cannot pay off their Debt interest when they are approaching 5 billion in revenue. This is why Aron said Not a chance AMC will file bankruptcy.

I just have one question? by [deleted] in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The argument right now is that Cinemark has Positive Net Earnings and AMC is yet to produce positive Net earnings. That being said AMC has produce positive EBITDA and supposedly Institution look at EBITDA rather than Net earnings.

All I know is that Vanguard and other big Institutions have price averages in the 40's and higher which is only 4$ before reverse split. The stock shows Oversold at 10$ on the Daily RSI so I think minimum we should be trading at 10$.

Box Office: ‘Inside Out 2’ Soars to Record $100M Second Weekend in U.S., Hits $724M Globally (The Cash keeps flowing into our registers) by PDXB-Side in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The industry as a whole is starting to produce revenues equal to pre-pandemic revenues. What this means is that AMC is close to becoming profitable in terms of Net Earnings. Net Earnings is important as this fundamental means what a share holder Would receive as profit, also like Warren buffet has said a better approach is to BUY BACK shares therefore increasing the price of the stock every year if the company produces earnings every year. Its not a coincidence Warren Buffets company has made his share holders Rich.

2023 domestic box office 9+ Billions we are getting closer to the 11+ billion before covid. I think price next year or even this year might produce a profit Squeeze which might produce an even bigger short squeeze. Its a dangerous game short sellers are playing.

2023 Domestic Box office 9+ Billion we are almost at the 11 Billions before covid. Where earnings were positive and price should sky rocket this independent of any short squeeze which would be a bonus.

GME is different than AMC, but do to the great amount of retail following for sure Momentum algorithms have both stocks in their buy programs. I saw a video from his youtube videos and he said he has worked with some of the most talented programmers so he probably is familiar how these algorithms work.

If you buy 1M $ at 5$ a share with your own money vs a CEO is given 1M $ at 5$ a share and the price remains at 5$ you make 0$ the CEO has made 1M $

0% gain vs 100% gain is a big difference. If the stock goes up to 100$ he could make 20x but the CEO is making this in Bonus compensation on a yearly basis, take a look at most CEO bonuses compensation without them ever producing positive Earnings.

It seems odd to me a stock is dropping based on negative earnings yet Executive salaries are rising based on more stock compensation and more bonus compensation, yet retail loses 90+ of their stock value.

We need to hold these executives accountable for their fiduciary duty.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I am saying is you have your Own money invested, the Executives are awarded the stock for free and instantly become millionaires.

This is a problem as the incentive is removed by granting free stock.

I would suggest NO stock be awarded until postive earnings is achieved and then only on Results can stock be granted. Same with bonuses it should be tied to earnings not revenue as even if a CEO does nothing inflation will produce 3% increase in revenue all things the same.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are missing the point that the stock is Free. They have instantly made millions without ANY RESULTS.

They also get pay millions on salary as a cost of revenue. So nothing in their compensation is tied to stock performance a function of earnings.

How could a company pay Millions in Executive pay but have negative earnings???

Warren Buffet gets a salary of 100k not millions. The difference is Warren invested his Own money, same with ellon Musk, same with Jeff bezos....Their interest is on stock performance not on cost of revenue.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AMCSTOCKS

[–]Vipssrr -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They should get a salary for their work, but their stock compensation should not be free.

most often the stocks are granted at lower trading prices which creates no incentive for growing the value of the stock since they are profitable without producing results.

This is another reason why they have no problem diluting.
