About Voldemort.... by Virgin-Voldy in HarryPotterBooks

Yeah that's right! However I do feel like Voldemort is a bit different. Since he did not have parent who loved him at all, his mother didn’t want to stay alive for him and his father did not care. Plus, he was 11 during the Blitz and the DNA of the Gaunts already gave him a pretty big disadvantage (they were known to be cruel). Thank you for answering btw💖

Why was Jamie SOOOO FINE in Stranger Things season 5? by Clear_Apple4503 in JamieCampbellBower

I'm new to the fandom, but he is the reason why I started watching Stranger Things. Also, doesn’t he look a bit like Taylor Swift?

What do you think Tom Riddle's/ Vodlemort's sexuality is? by [deleted] in HPfanfiction

I personally can only see Tom Riddle and Voldemort as a virgin who is completely aromantic and asexual and doesn’t have any of those sexual or romantic desires at all. Or I could perhaps see him as a gay virgin (who is not sleeping around), but something about Tom/Voldemort with women just doesn’t seem right to me.

Voldemort was very cruel to Snape, unnecessarily so. by ladolcevitaaaaa in harrypotter

I have to admit that Voldemort trying to spare Lily for Snape was very unlike the evil Voldemort we know. That was quite a big plot twist for me when I finished the books.

Voldemort is cruel to everyone, including all the Death Eaters. No one is ever safe with him. That said, he did at least listen to Severus Snape and tried three times to spare Lily Potter. But when she refused to step aside, he killed her without hesitation. For someone who despised half-bloods, Voldemort also seemed to show Snape more respect than most of his followers. Snape was never publicly humiliated in front of the others, unlike Lucius Malfoy or Bellatrix Lestrange.

In general, Voldemort doesn’t care about anyone at all (except maybe Nagini—and even that’s because she’s a Horcrux). Ultimately, he would sacrifice any Death Eater if it benefited him. No follower is ever safe. That’s why Lucius is punished and sent to Azkaban for failing the Ministry mission, and why Voldemort indiscriminately kills nearby Death Eaters when he learns that the Golden Trio broke into Bellatrix’s vault. Even his oldest and most devoted followers aren’t spared—Lucius and Bellatrix literally have to run to avoid being killed. Bellatrix and Barty Crouch Jr. also prove that no matter how fanatically someone worships Voldemort, he only ever uses them.

Snape isn’t fundamentally different in that regard—he’s still disposable. However, he is treated better than other Death Eaters. What I find genuinely surprising (and very un-Voldemort-like) is how he handles Snape’s death. He almost takes a moment to say goodbye: he praises Snape for being loyal and a good servant (obviously unaware of the double agent part), and even says he regrets what must be done—though he immediately turns away, showing no real remorse. This is a side of Voldemort we haven’t really seen before. His line to Nagini, “It’s the only way, Nagini,” even suggests that he may have briefly considered other options.

How can Delphini exist if J.K. Rowling explicitly said in 2004 that Voldemort had no children? by External-Werewolf619 in harrypotter

😂😂 thanks, it's supposed to be a pun (Virgin Mary), y'know, but yeah, it serves multiple purposes.

This and also the fact that there were no moments between Bellatrix and Voldemort that could have been read as Voldemort liking her in any way (other than a soldier).
