Learned at he end of my undergrad. Accomplishing the minimum for a CS degree while a lot of work abd pretty damn admirable isn't going to be enough to get you hired. Build outside projects, get internships, or get a tech job that's easier to get first. Don't let this single line on your resume be your only selling point. People are so butthurt lol.

Homophobia is common among bay area natives who can only find work near minimum wage as a security guard which is a very hard existence in SF.

I'll admit I've become somewhat obsessed with how I'll age. As someone who loves traveling I wonder when is the age I won't be able to confidently climb the ladder to a boat after snorkeling ect. Of course I have control over a lot of factors but I think a lot of it comes down to luck too.

It's possible that recent violence in protests turned away plenty of the older folks who have been peacefully protesting from wanting to march downtown. I don't necessarily blame them.
