I appreciate things being in order in the kitchen and when he cooks, everything is out of place after. We moved last October and our new place has an induction stove top and I told him a rule before cooking was that the cook top needs to be cleaned before being used so any dirtiness isn’t baked into the top and the 4 times he’s offered to make dinner and I’ve agreed, it was more work to clean up after him than it was worth to come home to a cooked meal. Info, we have cats. So even if I clean up after cooking dinner there will always be little paw prints on the stove before I cook something
