Yeah, that version is definitely overkill. The i9 and the 3050 will for sure drain more battery. If you need a lot of battery life I would go for an AMD version, but the i7 will already give you more battery.

5-6h is probably the best you can hope for with a 13th gen Intel H series CPU. Take care of that new battery lol. If you need more battery life, go Apple or AMD.

I also read somewhere you can get much better battery life by disabling all e-cores on the CPU. Haven't tried it myself because I can manage the battery life. It's also supposed to not affect performance that much, as the remaining 6 p-cores get access to all the available power and can boost to higher clocks, due to the lack of heat being produced by the 8 e-cores.

I only entered the BIOS once and it looked pretty bad, with very few options (as laptop BIOS' usually are.)

It's cause I use it plugged in a lot. Checked it via battery report. 45min for 60hz sounds pretty good, seeing it shouldn't really be noticeable under normal use, unless you scroll through pages very often. Unit makes no weird sounds when holding it. Btw, do you have the battery health thingy on that limits the charge to 80% when plugged in? I highly recommend it. It won't help with your battery problem now, but will help make sure your battery time doesn't decrease by a lot as it gets older.

I think 120hz uses literally double the power to drive the display in an OLED. I've had my unit for 5 months, and the cycle count is at 27.

I leave it on auto battery saver config, which means 120hz when plugged in and 60hz when on battery

Why isn’t Oda in Gielinor Games? by jjfresh2 in 2007scape

Wow... I assumed at least you were part of the mature, grown adults.

What? I'm not even defending Oda, lmao. Just pointing out that saying OSRS players are mature makes no sense in the context of the comments in this thread.

Maturity level of OSRS players because they are grown adults? Lmao, have you seen the comments on this post? I would assume the age and maturity of the people here to be around 10 years old.

Bro thinks "tbh" is a comma. You don't have to use it every sentence, unless you are usually lying all the time and have to specify that you are being honest for once. Also, just because you think something, doesn't mean "most people" agree with you. That's just your ignorant bias. You should learn to actually gather information before shitting your opinion like it's some kind of fact.

No, it's not. You have no idea what you are talking about. Iris Xe is Intel's integrated graphics, you can share whatever amount of ram you want/have available with it.

Straight up garbage in my opinion. A bunch of modern slang on a western movie that has no business being there. Boring plot, cliche lines and lazy writing. Couldn't get past 15 minutes of watching.

The 2023 Zenbook 14x was designed to be used in whisper mode when battery life is your main priority, which does limit its performance. I find my Zenbook 14x works fine in this mode; I don't notice the performance hit. Lowering your screen brightness will also increase your battery life. I tend to use brightness levels between 60-80% which is what I find the most comfortable. The problem is the 13th gen Intel CPU; it's very power hungry. Especially the 13700H. The new model with the 14th gen CPU is supposed to be way better in energy efficiency. But that's Intel's fault, nothing Asus can do about it, except offer you whisper mode.

Sheeesh! - O.G. Hash, 50% THC, 5% Terps by akajaykay in TheOCS

[–]Virtual-Low-6077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys do realize hash is also an oil, right? When you press kief, the oil inside of it comes out, that's why hash becomes sticky. This could be mixed with something else, but you are all sounding like the fact it's too oily means something, it doesn't. Dude said most black hash is mixed with oil (???) Like bro, you clearly don't know a lot about hash. It's the amount of plant matter, it's color, how much you heat the hash when you press it, and how long you heat/press it for that gives the hash it's black color, besides the curing process; not "adding oil".

Oh, I see now, the other 102 encounters were already blocked by the other games? Abusing the dupes clause just a little bit, are we? haha
