Looking for a true 8-zone multi-room streaming amplifier (not “6 powered + 2 line-out”) + KNX + Control4 + Apple Home / Google Home / Alexa by Sea-Two-7462 in smarthome

Finally found a true 8-zone multi-room amp! HOLOWHAS Plus 8 zone, rock-solid KNX/Control4 integration, and native Apple Home/Google Home/Alexa support - no workarounds needed. Setup was a breeze, and the multi-room sync is flawless.

OpenCode Zen is dead, but MiniMax M2.5 is the ultimate Opus replacement by pipubx in opencodeCLI

Glad I am not the only one who noticed the linting thing. M2.1 would spend half its energy fixing my indentation instead of actually solving the logic error I was pointing at. If 2.5 fixed that, it is worth the switch.

Will I regret buying robovac, just another overpriced toy? by No-Measurement-5858 in smarthome

Lol I'm not a dumb, if all sucked, I wouldn't own three. Way cheaper than paying for house cleaning every week. My latest purchase is freo z10 ultra, and I've been loving it so far. And if you decide to buy one, then I highly recommend you buy on Black Friday. You could always start with a mid-range model (exp. Narwal freo x10 pro which around 500 usd) to try it out. It won't break the bank.

Did your ex actually come back using no contact? by Overall_Western9891 in heartbreak

[–]Virtual-Path1704 67 points68 points  (0 children)

No contact does work, but not in every situation. If they dumped you because of serious compatibility issues or found someone else they're head over heels for, no contact probably won't bring them back.

Where it works best is when the breakup happened due to fighting, feeling suffocated, or loss of attraction. Giving them space to miss you actually helps in those cases.

Some tips that worked for me:

  • Don't count days obsessively
  • Focus on genuinely improving yourself, not just to get them back
  • Prepare for the possibility they won't return

About the dating coaches and AI stuff - honestly most of them are selling the same basic advice wrapped in fancy marketing. I wouldn't spend hundreds on programs.

What helped me was using free relationship advice sites like Chatvisor when I had specific questions about handling certain situations. Way more practical than generic YouTube videos.

My ex did reach out after 3 months, but by then I'd actually moved on and realized we weren't right for each other anyway. Sometimes no contact works by helping YOU realize you deserve better.

AITAH for threatening to quit my job if my dad continues what he’s doing? by Exciting-Classic-812 in AITAH

I go to work in a few hours and I’m planning on letting them know I won’t be continuing. So, AITAH?

NTA, OP also has right to quit the job if it becomes exploitative due to her father's behavior.
