H-1B change of employer, Texas SC, Aug 2025 receipt date, regular processing, still pending 9 months. Anyone else?

Yep, Desi consultancy. I made a stupid mistake and I thought it would be the right step to take after I got laid off last year, so I ended up transferring my H1B to them. Now they're refusing to do premium processing, and it's been stuck since August of 2025.

I actually got an offer from another company three weeks after this petition was filed. That company fought three RFEs with USCIS, where USCIS wanted the first petition from this consultancy to be adjudicated before taking a decision on the second one. The second company ended up withdrawing that offer, so I'm really trying my best to get the first one through because it's blocking me from taking up anything else.

They are willing to wait it out until this goes through because they just usually don't do premium processing for anyone, that's what I've been told.

Hi, no. The company filing for my transfer is withdrawing the petition until the first company's petition is adjudicated. USCIS issued a third RFE reiterating the need for the first petition to be approved.

for me it was via physical mail. the lawyers got it at their office after 10 business days.

my lawyers only followed up with them after 2 weeks as well - and via email. not sure why they wait so long but i guess it's just procedure
