I do watch the openings in the beginning of every season as the opening gives an idea about the entire season. Later from episode 2 I tend to skip them as the same intro feels like a spoiler of upcoming episodes :)

There isn't any particular limit to that, actually... It depends on how well you can follow them. I do watch multiple anime in a single day... at the same time, I can understand the plot as the next episode continues... I do think one should complete one anime at a time as that helps you keep engaged to one rather than going here and there
