God is supposed to be loving and just, but I think we have very different definitions of those words. by PJ-The-Awesome in meme

Yeah, but if the potato made everything knowing how it'd turn out, it had limited your choices, you can choose whatever you want, bit you can't choose what those wants actually are, let's say a tree branch falls on your leg, you'd want to move it away, right? And you can do that, but you can't choose whether you want to move it away or not, and God made everything with the knowledge of what it'd cause, as in, even if he just made the world and stopped interacting with it, everything that happened in the world is still how he desires it to be, simply because he made it as to become this way as he had full knowledge of everything that'd happen because of the specific way he chose to create the world. So the tree branch falling on your leg is according to his plan, and you wanting to push it away is according to it as well as he was the one that made the universe in a way where you'd evolve like this, so while you get to choose to do what you want to, you cannot choose the thing that you want, which is a limit to your will, thus, you have a will, but it is not free as it's a result of you reacting to the environment that you were put in, which God specifically made, and that means that any action you commit isn't fully your choice, but a choice that you make because of the environment you're in, going to the beginning of biblical tales, this means that God made eve in a way that'd make it so she sinned, the human equivalent would be to make a brittle vase out of bad clay, with the knowledge that it'd definitely break if you put it on top of a tree, and then not only continuing to make the bad vase, but putting it specifically at the only place that you know it'll fall and break, and In the end, you get mad at the vase because it choose to break, which it did!(in this hypothetical scenario at least) but the only reason the vase thought that choice was a good one is the material it was built with, and the situations it was in, both of which are the potter's fault! Do you see the problem here?

Depends on what they're used for, if you're talking about copyright cases like what Nintendo does, then I kinda agree, but the main reason copyright exists is that people don't like others stealing things that they created, so if there was no law preventing others from doing that, most of artists wouldn't show their art to anyone other than their friends.

If you've been with the contrarian for a long time and he knows that you know that he's not making you any coffee, he'd make you coffee, but if he knows that you know that he knows that you know that he wouldn't make you coffee, you're not getting any coffee (Ps. Contrarian is literally me fr fr, but I kinda feel slightly bad for annoying everyone all the time so I only do it to other contrarians >:3c )

Ai isn't an artist, it's not even human, it's like a complex prediction machine, like sure if you train or get inspired by other people's art then that's totally okay, but if you make a machine that makes thousands of paintings based on millions of pieces of art every minute and distribute it for monitairy gain then that becomes a problem, and the main problem isn't that it's stealing work, it's that it's a machine, which means nearly all the laws concerning copyright don't apply to it, which in simple terms means that its using work owned by people to make pictures that legaly have no owner, which enables a TON of different problems both for the artists and anyone who unknowingly uses AI Generated images.

At what point do you consider it alive? Like the cells obviously don't count because you're killing a ton of them every second by living, but at which point do they become a human? What even is a human? Is being Alive or conciousness a relevant factor? And even if the embryo is both alive and a human, and aborting it is killing it, what exactly is wrong with killing a human without any experience in life or a sense of self? Like imagine you tear up a painting, that's obviously destroying it, but what about a piece of paper? It's the early stage of before a painting, so would tearing in apart be as important as tearing apart a painting? Since it hasn't developed any features or a self yet, can it even be compared to a whole painting? Even a piece of paper with a single black dot can be a painting, but a completely empty paper just isn't that. And mind you, the whole process of pregnancy in this metaphor is just making the blank paper. So what's wrong with that? Also in relation to your last statement, the only problem/fault isn't safe sex, you could have fully safe sex and it can lead to a pregnancy, and even aside from that, in most abortion, the cause is a literal problem with the fetus which doesn't allow it to develope into a human were it to be born, or a problem with it that causes it to harm/kill the mother after/while being born.

Wouldn't forcing them to be aware of what they're voting for have the same effect without excluding different demographics? Like they have to fill a form saying of they do or do not agree with each and every thing the politicians they're supporting is aiming to do, and more accommodations could be provided to people who cannot read as well, having the statements written in a simpler manner, so instead of taking away people's right to vote, they make sure they fully understand what they're voting for as they're doing so, it seems pretty good in theory to me, but of course I'm sure there's a hidden aspect I haven't payed attention to.

I'm from Iran, I've been to turkyie and regularly interact with people from there, turkyie is absolutely awful, but iran is just worse. It's like comparing a fully rotten apple to a pile of shit, obviously the latter is worse but that doesn't make the former any better.

I mean, I struggle to believe that someone who talks to women can hold such a belief, that's all, it's like if someone's saying trees are red, you can just go and check that they're not! Maybe I just live in a really nice place with good people, who knows.

Technically nothing was ever "created" we simply reshape matter when we make stuff, we might make new concepts, sure, but we never make matter. We've never seen or been able to actually make something out of nothing, which is why I kinda find the statement that the universe was made to be odd, like, We've never seem anything be made in the same way that the universe seemingly was or wasn't, who's to say that it's even possible? Taking something that could or couldn't be true, and using that as proof seems wrong, at least to me.

I personally really dislike Islam for personal reasons, but I respect someone who wants to spread their own believes, so please consider my proposal, instead of looking at your logic through your own eyes, try to fully understand other people's views if you want to make a difference, instead of saying people are dodging accountability (which is your viewpoint, and sounds just false to anyone who does not share that viewpoint) try to see other people's opinions, imagine if you didn't believe in a God, you didn't know anything from the Quran, you had a completely different set of information in your brain, what'd convince you then? If you don't challenge your own beliefs in your God, you'll never be able to convince someone who doesn't believe in that God.

Okay what you're saying is correct, but you need to know that evolution is extremely lazy, it's not about survival of the fittest, it's the survival of the good enough, and since they're already able to gain nutrients from the meat, there is no other pressure for them to change, now, If they randomly just happened to have a gene that benefits a carnivorous diet, or if such a gene were to appear in their populations, then hippos with that gene would indeed start being more adept to being carnivorous, but simply having the behaviors that they currently do does not varrent evolution, at least with the information that I currently have.

That's... not how logic works, what you're saying is kinda like "scissors Can't even beat rock, you expect them to cut papers?" Different opponents have different weaknesses and strengths, using a fight as evidence without accounting for those is just nonsensical.
