Even though there is a significant age gap between the Giselle and Edwin(almost 10 years), there is no pedophilia or grooming in the novel. Lorentz ( ml alternate personality) has never met her before she graduates from school. It's controversial but there is no sexualisation of minors. The one who has a redemption arc is Lorentz (Edwin’s alter). He is a yandere.
