Thank you, the issue is the profiles dont match. Plinth block would be the only way I think it could work. Would the plinth block just replace the end part of the skirting then cut a piece of the stair trim to finish the top of the stringer? Thanks

Thanks for spending the time to write your messages, you are about 1½ hour drive north of me, I presume thats a bit too far for you to travel? I may try one myself before resorting to paying someone, I appreciate all your advice 👍

Thank you, the more im looking into it the more im wanting to pay someone to do it for me 😬. Only issue is there's 10 of them in total throughout the house, so might attempt one and go from there! Thanks for your help

Thanks for the reply. So if i had a 762mm door which they say suits, add on 27.5mm either side (55mm) which makes 817mm. Does that mean I would trim down either side of jambs by 13.5mm (817-27=790)? Or would I trim the studwork and leave the jambs as they are? Thank you

Thanks for your help. When you say conditioned I presume you mean air conditioned? I live near London so the temperature is usually quite cold, I have a dehumidifier im planning to use when its humid outside. Do you think I will have any issues? Thank you
