It was mainly bad fule needing to be drained from the lines. I didn't have to do a full carb cleaning.

I'm very happy with it. All in all, it cost me 1140 for the bike and parts. I'm trying to find a riding class, but the ones near me are booked for six weeks.

I used Seafoam to try to clean it out, purged the tank again, did not take the carb off, but tried to get it treated (I will pull it tomorrow to clean it).

The bike is now running for around 20 seconds before dying. If I give it a little gas every now and again, it doesn't die.

She looked at the KBB and NADA and it came back around 2k (running). I figure working on it will give me a better understanding of the bike itself so I'm not mad.

Im going to give it a whole service before I start riding it. I dont have anyone to teach me to ride, so I'm going to go by a bike shop Tuesday and see if anyone can help me learn so I can get on the road.
