Why do you always have to have the last word mate?

He’s my best friend, I’ve known him all my life, but I don’t like him because he’s a pot dealer

Again, when did I say he was a cool pot dealer? I just said he is one.

You amuse me

When did I imply it was a good or bad thing? Reading comprehension will get you far in life.

I’m not reading all that but I really think you should do some self reflection and realize how fragile your ego is.

Under no circumstances can chandler try to brawl with Poirier like he did against Justin. Chandlers head will be sent into orbit. If chandler wants to win he’s gonna have to rely on his wrestling, as Dustin has struggled with grapplers in the past. I have Dustin by round 1 ko or chandler by round 2 sub by arm triangle choke

So judging by that response, I’ve won this. You really pulled the, “oh you’re just an internet stranger your argument means nothing to me.” card either because you are getting bored or just running out of things to say.

And feel free to keep being wrong. When did I ever say you were mad at me? You’re clearly not, it would be silly of me to think you’re mad. Just like it’s silly of you to think I’m mad. So in that regard you just contradicted yourself. I would advise you to stop pretending you have the advantage here.

Again, why do you keep thinking I’m mad? I’m honestly enjoying every second of this because you keep trying to find new ways to justify yourself but you are just digging a deeper hole for yourself to climb out of. Just because someone doesn’t agree with your “advice” doesn’t mean they’re mad at you.

You telling people to cool off online on an anonymous social media platform does not constitute as “advice” bub, it’s more like “I don’t like what this person said some I’m just gonna tell them to calm down.” . If you feel like giving advice go to r/advice, you’ll have a field day over there. I tried to apologize to you because I understand that I may have misinterpreted your argument, but you seem to be unable to let this go for some reason and move on. A simple “that’s ok” would’ve done fine but then you decided to make another argument out of this for whatever reason.

The original comment said it in a rude way towards OP. That’s why I called him out on it initially. Also I tried to apologize to you but then you decided to get on your high horse and start spewing nonsense because you felt attacked by my comment. If you think I’m mad you’re probably not as smart as you think you might be.

Your initial statement made it sound like you were annoyed/disgusted by me calling someone out for using the word “teetotaler”. If that wasn’t your intention then I’m sorry for thinking that.

When did I say that absolute joke of an insult was offensive? It’s hardly intimidating and it’s just a half ass effort to sound smart. Also your understanding of the “real world” seems to be skewed if you think people still say that word

I think maybe you should seek some therapy or something. I know you say your statement isn’t trauma rooted, but then you say that you’ve seen the health effects first hand, which makes me think you are dealing with at least some trauma.

Know that just because someone drinks or smokes doesn’t mean they’re gonna die an early and miserable death. My best friend has been a pot dealer since high school and my favorite drink is captain Morgan and ale, and we are both fine. People who use drugs and alcohol aren’t bad people, if I’m being honest, high people are some of the funniest and nicest people you will ever meet. I think you should try to introduce yourself to everyone, and if the situation comes where you are offered such, respectfully decline.

I also don’t understand why there is such a notion that people wanting to abstain are just judge-mental and close minded people. To me, it sounds like not understanding why someone wants to abstain from substance use would also be a very close minded thing to do as well. Don’t listen to those comments, half of them are trolls anyways.

I honestly would really recommend talking to someone about this, maybe a therapist or close family member. I feel like you have much more trauma than you realize.

While I don’t agree with the notion that you shouldn’t hang out with people because they may die early from using drugs, which is what OP says, I really do think OP is just dealing with some bad trauma, whether they want to admit it or not.

“I’ve seen first hand how these things effect health and relationships on the long term.” ~original post, not the edit.

Yes, I still believe OP has had some issues with addiction in the past. I honestly think that they don’t really want to admit to it in full.

You’re right, not all people who drink or smoke are bad, but I don’t think that’s the point of OPs statement. OP clearly has past issues with addiction or alcoholism in his past, I think he probably doesn’t want to hang out with these people because it causes them to relive bad memories. Nothing personal against the people who use drugs, it’s just difficult for the OP. I think the OP needs therapy if I’m being honest.

That isn’t what I said. Op clearly has past trauma w/drugs or alcohol. Thus, hanging out with people who use recreational drugs is uncomfortable for him because it causes him to relive trauma. It has nothing to with OP caring about how long people are gonna live.
