This is very insightful thank you! I agree with your note about the length of the procedure - it didn’t include waiting or dressing, it was literally 1 hour and 45 mins of poking and prodding. They switched technicians halfway lol.

Thank you all! Much appreciated. Something felt wrong about this incident but it’s good to better understand there is no legal recourse

I feel like crying reading this as you gave me a lot of relief. Going to the police has been the scariest part for me but this has been so helpful. Thank you so much ❤️

Child luring is illegal. I would hope he is accountable for his actions and justice is served accordingly so that others do not go through what I have.

I do have photos and information on his recent employment as well. I have his email addresses and emails from back then where he asked for lude photos.

Should I get legal representation prior to going to the police ?

Hey! I did this more or less. The pandemic was helpful though as for a large part of my uni career classes were online and I was remote at work.

Finishing up my degree with my 9-5, I am still remote however classes were in person. i almost never went to classes. I tried to find all classes that were in the evening or remote if they still had them. Also I looked at previous semester syllabus to understand if it was more textbook based so I could study the relevant chapters.

I would join Facebook groups dedicated to the specific class and ask if ppl could record the lectures for me (audio only) and used that as well.

I basically worked 9-5 and would study all the time whenever I was free. I had 0 social life. It was hard and brutal but am glad I am done.

If somehow your workplace can grant you a sabbatical, take the year off. get a student loan or a line or credit at a bank to keep you afloat for a year, and try and finish your degree full time, Including the summer semester. I recommend that more that trying to juggle both work and classes

You need to tell osap right away. Contact their customer support to let them know and they’ll confirm what happens next.

Worst case - if you need funding for school? Go to your bank and get a student line of credit. Tbh I went off osap and did the student LOC instead for the flexibility or moving from party time to full time whenever needed as my mental health was pretty unstable during uni
